I hope you're feeling better Daisy!! What an awful thing to go through Thank goodness for the store manager, how awesome of him.
And thanks RBsMama for doing the list, that was really cool of you!!!
Not much to report here, it's been cooler today thank GOD!!!! I'm loving it...and not having swollen feet/ankles is pretty sweet too I did a big layby the other day at Baby Factory of things like cloth nappies, snappis, muslins, bedding etc, getting organised!
A lovely girl sent me a link to do some maternity modelling for Womama, so I did that on Thursday, and can I just say how comfortable and beautiful their lingerie and clothing is? AMAZING! What was equally amazing is that I am now a D cup I was previously an A cup, so this is craaaazy!! Anyway. if anyone is wondering if the Womama stuff is worth it, it definitely is. So gorgeous.
I hope everyone is well and happy, I hope we hear from PB soon xxx

Well, I'm gonna get the worst mother award then aren't I.. DD has a chipped front tooth too.. But dentist said gum and tooth haven't been damaged.. Thank god..
RBs Mama - time to take things easy by the sounds of it.. I had that last week and MW said I'm doing too much and to rest more.. Hard I know but could be the ol body giving you hints..
DP has been very kind to me..!! I'm blown away.. I've been so exhausted (didn't realise low iron can do that) he decided not to work this weekend and give me some rest.. Bless him.. So had a lovely big sleep today and told me to sit while he ran around after the kids.. so lucky..
How exciting GS re the big move overseas..!! DP loves Adelaide..
Kyro, I have posted a question under the cloth nappy discussion re what brand people recommend that they love.. Can you do the same please...!!! Would love to hear what you would recommend..!! And anyone else for that matter..
Think we're taking the kids to Chipmunks tomorrow - two wet days inside is clostrophobic as..!! Talk later...xxx

Hey guys
I've made a booboo on the general list. Charlieface's mobile number starts with 021, not 027. Jacinda, I've given you the right number at the top of the pm.
Poohbear, great to see you back and that bump is growing huge! I hope things are great on your next checkup.
Kirsty, A to a D!! Go you!!!!
Nikki, yay for a sleep-in. DS slept until 7.30am yesterday and that was so nice!!!
I think I do over do it when I'm at work. I'll have to make sure I take things a little easier, but it is easier said than done some days.
I went to Baby Factory today and got some cute little girls things for bub and some t-shirts and a pair of trackies for DS. I got size 3 for DS for next season, as the clothes were only $3-$5 each.
I got a couple of pairs of merino booties for bub, only $6 each, and the most cute, matching yellow leggings and top for next summer. I also got a sweet little pink cardy in newborn size as well. Probably impractical as it's cotton, but I thought with merino singlet and other layers, it should be okay.
Dh helped me sort out 2 years worth of DS's clothes this afternoon and I'd forgotten how neutral alot of the newborn clothes were, so I've only had to get a few merino/woollen singlets etc to finish. Little miss now has plenty of clothes until at least 6 months! Saying that, can a girl ever have enough clothes
I now have 2 big plastic containers of clothes to sort out and figure out if they're worth listing on tm or giving away. Next weekend's job, me thinks

Evening ladies,
well, has been a rather busy week for me - heaps of staff dramas to sort out and new staff to hire (oh the joy......) Still - nice to have a 3-day weekend here in Wellytown - best thing is only a 4 day week next week - woohoo!!
Mum and Dad came down today for a few hours to see the baby's room all finished with painting and catch up as has been about 3 weeks since we were up there to see them - Mum bought down the woollen shawl that she used for both my sister and me, for baby - so cute!! Really nice to have that for baby.
The nursery furniture arrives this week so will be really fun to put that together and get the room all set up.
Went to Baby Factory and Pumpkin Patch outlet store yesterday - got a few more little merino singlets and onesies - I think we are probably set for stuff for him now till he's about 6 months. Going to have a quick count/sort of it all next weekend though.
My best friend rang this afternoon to check if I was "not too pregnant to go to the Kirkcaldie's sale tomorrow" - told her that I'm never too pregnant to shop!!! Off there tomorrow morning so will see if any bargins.
Baby has been moving heaps the last few days - DH lays in bed with me at night with his hands on my belly just feeling the movements - so sweet!
Looking forward to this rain stopping although nice to have the temperature a bit lower.
Hope you are all having a good weekend

Im loving the rain today in wellington, although it was a little chilly and couldnt fine a jersery which went over the bump nicely hahaha.
Started to do the old elastic band in the jeans thing now, dont really wanna buy a pair of maternity jeans when i only have 9 weeks to go and its summer!
Had 2 of my BFF's around this arvo and we did all the baby shower invitations, going to have it on the 20th Feb. glad the invites are done..... now its up to them, kinda hard though as 3 of them are meant to be organising it and 2 out of the 3 arnt speaking... hahah gotta love drama aye!!!
Have the MIL and lil sister over tomorrow for bbq dinner so we wil tell them about our plans for aussie later this year.... i think they know its coming, but I feel sorry for hubbys mum as she already has 2 granddaughters living in Perth she never sees..... my mum will hate it too, but we have to think of ourselves now and the money is just way to good to turn down.....
Poohbear glad you are feeling better and had a good holiday.
I have my 32 week scan next tuesday 1st Feb. Im very interested to see how much hes growing as people comment im small..... although i think hes grown this last week hard out... bump def looks bigger to me, but hey still 9 weeks of growing time to go, isnt this where we really notice it???
Congrats on 30 weeks RbsMama.
got up 4 times last night to go toilet... ARGHHHH

I hear you on the elactic band in the jeans Jade - I've had to do that for a while now but they still fit fine round my bum/thighs - just can't do them up - couldn't justify buying maternity ones when the elastic band and the belly-band coverups do the job just fine.
Good luck on breaking the news of the Aussie move to the rellies tomorrow too Jade - I'm sure they will agree on the reasons you are doing it.
Congrats on the 30 week mark RBsMama

Well typically I ended up calling the ob last night when we got back from my MILs and I was asked to go to north shore hosp to check that the baby was ok as all day I had been getting really bad pains and it had not eased since Friday.
Thankfully, as expected all was fine with the baby but I have really stuffed up my ligaments which is what is causing so much pain. So DD has been shipped off to my MILS and I now have to take it easy for a week. If no better will have to go to the physio and get the belt thing... bugger....
Has anyone else had any trouble like this?? I cant believe it cos I am usually so careful and I am finding it a real struggle to slow down... I have heaps of housework and mounting piles of washing. My parents are over in 2 weeks from the uk and i dont want them turning up to a complete mess, not seen then in over a year... oh well at least they will be able to help
Cant believe that we are all nearly there... not long now...
Right off to try getting back to sleep.

Congrats to everyone who has made 30 weeks! I noticed easter eggs in the supermarket yesterday and had a moment of realisation at how close we are to due dates!
DaisyBoo, there is a chance you could have Symphisis Pubis Dysfunction as well?? It effects 1 in 5 to various degrees... maybe ask your MW.
Jade, Adelaide is an awesome city; it reminds me a lot like chch will be a good move, yay a new start, don't worry what anyone thinks they will soon adjust.
Well I can say we are all set for baby, have everything we need now, got the car capsule yesterday it had a stain on it where the air con had dribbled on it and got $70 off!! I'm tempted to wash everything now but it's still a little too soon, will get dusty again. Baby's room is all set up.
Glad I am sorted as I'm big and lethargic and if I have another person comment on the size of my bump I am going to scream, and it's always comments like, oh you'll have to have a cs for sure, that's just too big!! Oh the ignorance! My mw thinks i'm just carrying it all out front.
5 weeks of work left, it's going to be a drag, i can barely waddle here every morning haha.
Glucose test tomorrow not looking forward to it, the waiting room is 2m x 2m i swear and is always cramped.. not looking forward to sitting there for an hour..
ok i better do some work now hehe

Wow, it sounds like everyone is getting sorted.... we really need to get onto cleaning out the spare room!!
Glad to hear you're doing OK PB.
Daisy, hope the pain doesn't get too much worse for you, sounds like you really did some damage
lol, at all the bump comments, they annoy me! I got heaps of 'your huge' with DD and now getting heaps of 'your tiny' with this one. But the measurements are always fine and people tend to forget there's fluid in there too!
Yay for nappy parties!
Oh and breastmatess are having a big sale starting today too, hoping they havesome good deals on bras and things!

Wow, it 's been quiet so far in here today. I hope everyone is doing well.
Greenstone, lucky you having a long weekend. I'm kinda regretting working up to 38 weeks now. Oh well, only 7 weeks and 4 days to go, hehe. I will take an annual leave day here and there though, to see me through.

kirsty just PM you about the nappy party.
lol regarding bust size im sure thats the only part of me growing. before getting pregnant with xander i was an E cup, during pregnancy F and when my milk came in a very large G, thankfully i settled down to an F. At the moment im an E cup i think.
When we took xander to get his xray the lady said to me any chance your pregnant and i was like um only by about 28 weeks lol. guess it just proves my theory that most days i dont look pregnant lol.
MW should be back from holiday this week so should get my results back from my glucose test. hoping all is well.

Funny about sizes being so different from person to person. In my work uniform I don't even look very pregnant and am still wearing my same stuff. But come Mufti day everyone freaks out at how pregnant I look . Nikki that is hilarious that the radiographer had to ask.
I am so over work. It is so busy. Working in insurance, the days/weeks after a storm like we just had are just mad which would be ok if we weren't already recovering from staff shortages over the holidays, annual leave still going on, sending staff to Chch for earthquake etc. I find myself hoping I will go into labour early so I have a good excuse not to go back.
I am really in a bad space at the moment. Nothing is enjoyable and I have no motivation for anything. Urgh!!
My dad has been plastering our downstairs bedroom. My mum comes home from the UK for a holiday on 6/2 and we needed it done then as the house is going to be overrun with family for Molly's 3rd birthday. So we just have to get Dad to do the final coat, then we sand it, paint it, put the skirtings back on then the carpet people are coming - all before 11/2. tight deadline but doable.
Dad promised to be here this morning to put on the finishing coat of plaster......but he couldn't come as he was doing stuff for my step brother and sister. Now Dad has gone to the Bay of Islands for 2 weeks on holiday. I am so sad because we had everything lined up and now it is all screwed up but I can't be angry because it is all free what Dad is doing......
Now when the inlaws come for Molly's party we have no bedroom for them. Sigh. Not what I need when I feel very stressed already.
The joys of relying on family.
what a poor me post. I think I just better go away now.....
