Just wondering, for those of you who used these, what age did your bubba move to the size 4 teats (ie the one with four holes)? Is the flow very fast on those?
We are planning on taking J's feeding tube out next week, to give him a chance to eat for himself again, and we thought we would try changing bottles at the same time. The NUK ones that he uses, it seems like he has to work hard to get the milk out.

But I also don't want to drown him! Comments appreciated. Thanks!

I think Caden was about Jacksons age when I moved him to the size 4 teat, and thats what he uses still(I dont think they go any higher...)
The flow is quite fast, but Caden did well on them.

We use threes for joel, it comes out plenty fast enough for him and you know what an eater he is! Leah went onto fours at about 18 months I think and still has a bedtime bottle now. |

We were giving james bottle a day (at night) from about 4 months and because I'm such a dork I didn't realise there were different teats so at about 7 months (when I realised) he went from a size 0 teat straight to a size 4 he took a little adjusting cause he didn't have to work so hard to get the milk out, but he didn't have much of a problem with it.
Hope taking out the NG goes well

Avent also have some variable flow teats - you just turn the bottle to have fast, medium or slow.
I have two that I got for Sophie when she was transitioning between teats they didn't get used too much and were sterilized after each use so PM if you would like them.
