Arghhh!!! My Avent bottles all leak! I have already complained and had them replaced and they refuse to replace them again. Im talking about the BPA free bottles with the anti-colic ring. Anyone else have this problem?

Are you using them without the ring in? We found that ours leaked without the ring.

The trick is to tighten them and then loosen them off a bit. Had the same problem to someone told me that

Hope that helps,

Yes! I could make them not leak by using the above mentioned technique but DH always had a mess everywhere when mixing them up. Couldn't be bothered with them so no longer use them. Gave them away lol.

Yeah they are a pain!! When DD2 was only 2 weeks old I had to take older DD1 to a specialist apt (not the kind of apt that you change unless you want to wait 6 months for another one), it was at feed time for DD2 and I needed to be able to concentrate on what the dr was saying so I carefully expressed of the feed before I left, got to the waiting room with my mum and the kids and opened the bottle bag to find milk everywhere... I almost cried.... Stupid bottles!!

Having said that I have never forgotten the ring again and I agree with above that you need to loosen and tighten again...

I recommend trying the NUK slow flow bottles and storage containers they are fantastic and the teets are slower flowing (more like the breast) then the Avent (which I also have and believe are fast flowing and the caps leak)

Mine only leak if I haven't put in the ring. I went to shake the bottle & ended up with milk everywhere!
