Thats great Lissel. I remember loving those first movements. Jake used to go crazy when i was in the bath. B2 is now jabbing around and driving me crazy!!

Well, i'm not sure if it's true for everyone but was defintely true for me. Firstly your uterus is thinner (i think) so you are more likely to feel the smaller movemenets, next you know what you are feeling. With Jake i think i did feel him move earlier but thought it was gas, or really wasn't sure. this time I could say "thats the baby" and know.

I think I felt Hannah just after I found out, maybe about 17 weeks but didn't know for sure if it was the baby. But then a couple of weeks later I was sure.
Congrats lissel... you won't get tired of it. (or atleast not until the last few weeks or if your baby gets nasty and dislocates a rib like a couple of the mums on here ended up with then it isn't so pleasant!)

That's great to hear!!! I'm waiting to experience the same. I am just over 18 wks and thought I felt a little flutter last week but haven't had anything since so are really not sure if it was baby or not. I am abit anxious as my tummy has definately grown but would love to feel movement just for that reassurance. Didn't anyone else feel like may this and think 'I hope everythings ok?' I have my scan tomorrow which we can't wait for!!

Yay Lissel, how exciting!
Selena, all women are different, some don't feel their baby move for the first time till after 20 weeks. But the scan will reassure you!

I've been getting bubbles and flutters since about 15 weeks, and just in the last couple of days it's been much more regular and a lot stronger movements Bath time is the best, as is lying in bed

They're good at giving ya scares Lissel! I went up to the hospital one night at about 26 weeks cos I hadnt felt baby move all day - very scary - but she was happy as larry in there! Turns out I wasnt resting enough. Apparently they sleep when you moving about and wake up when you resting, prob why you felt it then.
