My Maya loved her Jolly Jumper too. The gremlins liked it, but nowehere near as much as Maya did, she was like a baby kangaroo!
With the gremlins atm my best toy 'buy' isn't really a buy, it's something we've been leant - it's a thing that you drop balls into and they go down little chutes and it plays music. The gremlins are fascinated with it, they just put the balls in over and over again.
Also great were the play gyms when they were younger.

At the moment mine is Kylah 'tummytime toy' it converts to a gym too. She loves it because there is a mirror and she laughs at herself in it... DF says shes vain and takes after mummy!

We hired a mega-saucer for Ollie when he was about 5 months old. He absolutely loved all the different activites on it - particularly the "book". Might explain why he is so into books now...

Daniel just loves his cheapo tommee tippee rattle. I think it cost like $8 and he will sit there and entertain himself laughing really loudly for quite a long time.

Spencer loves his play gym more than anything else, I put him on it and he happily talks away to all the animals hanging from it. It also has a mirror so I use it for tummy time as he lifts his head up and is fascinated by his reflection.

The stand up ball blast, we got it for ayja when she was about 7 months and she used to watchi t heaps then would sit in front of it and watch us put balls down the chutes, then she learnt how to pull to standing and work it herself.. definatley a good buy!

That and her roll arounds and peek a blocks.. were all great!

A play gym for us - the ones with the mirrors are the best! And I never bought one but Bumbo seats are awesome too.

jack absolutely loved his jolly jumper too but charli isn't into it as much. she enjoys being in it and jumping around but i think she prefers to follow jack and do whatever he's doing.

when she was younger her fave was the playgym. jack also loved it and would talk for ages to the toys. another hit for jack was the baby einstein dvds. he still loves watching them

the jumperoo is an absolute fave! I love it! We have the rainforest one and I would not be without it. Lets mummy do stuff while she is bouncing etc (see photo of one in photo threads!)

Upstairs we have the exersaucer that amy leant us....would not be without that either!

In car - she LOVES a white star that plays music and flashes red lights when you pull it - i have it hanging on back of seat and she can look at it...she squeals if it isnt pulled when we drive off!

In bed - ocean wonders!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVES it!

THe about to be a favourite - the roll a rounds dinosaur! She loves it...she is always sneaking a peek at it and trying to get us to play with it...and the music and lights fascinate her - now she can hold the balls she can nearly put them in herself!

Some great ideas for toys for babies.

Ella loves lying under playgym and watching herself in the mirror, but lately as she has become more active and wanting to play for longer she is staying to get a bit bored with the playgym and wants to see what else is going on around her. Might invest in a second hand excersaucer and see if that will keep her occupied for a while.
