Topic: Biggest Loser Challenge Teams Posted: 07 November 2006 at 4:46pm |
Here are the teams for the challenge!
As stated every Tuesday night there will be a weigh in and on Weds a new challenge. The team that loses the most that week wins
Here are the team: (we could do with one more for one of the teams please come on ladies what do you have to lose?  Until we get that person the Blue team get to decide which persons weight from the red team is divided in half to make it equal, you cannot choose the same person each week you have to be equal. And you have to nominate them before the weigh in)

Yay!! I've been good with my food choices all week!!!! ( I know it's technically only the 2nd day of the week, but still!!!)

i dont mind being on hold for a while and waiting till another person joins in on the other team, i was going to wait until i stopped breastfeeding anyway. i am currently making the transition now, but still giving 3 feeds.... once i have stopped im going to be working hard. i dont mind either way (wont let my team down  )

Yippee, go blue team. Blue is a very flattering colour for me, that could be a good omen (well Im going to think it is anyway, anything that gets me motivated right  )
Blue team, can i suggest rather than decide each week who to pick for our share until another lady joins us we go down the red team list just as Jess has named them so this week it would be Clare, next week Baalamb etc... Just an idea but may save any confusion or hassle.

WEEK 1 - CHALLENGE
Week 1 here we come! I hope you are all motivated and ready to start the BLC tomorrow. I know I am!
The minimum daily requirements for the BLC Challenge are to walk for 30 minutes and drink 4 glasses of water a day. So if you are not already doing this, then that in itself will be a challenge!
So to keep the first week simple (since I will not assume we are all at the same level) I have set the following challenges:
1. If you are only walking 30mins each day, then I want you to increase that by 15mins every second day.
2. If you are already walking more than that (for example I do 1 hour every second day) then I want you to try and challenge yourself by increasing your speed or adding some hills to your usual walk.
Each week I will incorporate some toning exercises into the challenge, and this week we will concentrate on working those abs!! You may not think you have them, but believe me they are there just waiting to be shown off when we are all fit and fabulous.
3. Do 3 sets of 15 sit ups/crunches. If you are already a regular 'cruncher' then make that 3 sets of 20!

Actually the weight will the sorted by percentage lost and we will take one of the red team out for the total for the week. Starting from the top. Clare your percentage lost wont be taken into account but it doesnt mean you can take it easy
Go for it girls and work hard look forward to hearing peoples current weights so i can keep track of it  PM me the weight dont post it on here. Ill keep it private and only show the percentage weight loss at the end of each week

Boo! weight is up to 78kg. but am wearing pants and have had breakfast....thats at least 5 kg right there I think.

Hehe, I'll not take it easy.... but yay for being off the hook for this week
My current weight is 67kg (damn scales at my MIL said I was only 61 a week or so ago....  )
