 Topic: Birthing pool hire - Auckland

Help !
I swear there is a place on the North Shore that hires birthing pools to those that wish to use them at home, but I can't for the life of me remember where I read about it ! I have tried searching the Yellow Pages and doing a quick Google without too much success.

Give one of the maternity places (like Kate Sheppard or Maternity Associates) on the shore a ring in the morning. They'll definitely know.

Yeah, was just hoping there was a handy link somewhere. Will probably just give my midwife a call, that's probably where I read about it in the first place (one of the gazillion leaflets or magazines in the waiting room). Thanks though !

If you are looking to hire a birth pool in Auckland, New Zealand you can find it here www.wondermum.co.nz or on facebook www.facebook.com/birthpoolhirenzThey can also courier the birthing pool to you. I really recommend using a birth pool for labour pain relief even if you plan to go into the hospital later on. Or if you are worried that the birthing centre may not have a pool available you can take your own La Bassine with you!
