None of mine liked the swing or the kickin coastin thing I bought but the bouncinette from baby factory has been the best buy, cheap too :) I had to fold a towel down at the bottom cos they tend to slip off but so easy to tap with your foot if you are busy doing something like eating dinner and they are grizzly :)

I had a swing and a cheap bouncer. 1 child liked the swing, the other didn't. Like Lorna says, the cheap bouncers form Baby Factory are a good investment - they're simple and children are happy in them :-)

I was wondering about getting the older style bouncer - mesh covering as thats what I had as a baby. Would you recommend that type of bouncer? Its cheap and I know from my childhood they last.

The swing was a life-saver for those grizzly evenings here. We could pop the baby in it and eat tea - SO useful. I wish Id had it for the first.

Neither of mine liked those bouncy seats much until they got a bit older, then they loved them.

I don't like those at all. The baby looks so unsecured in it because they aren't reclined very far and all that holds the baby in is a small piece of fabric. 
But that is just my opinion from seeing a baby in them recently. 
Here we go again, another baby on it's way!
