Can you find your local La Leche League? I'm sure a big place like Whangarei will have an LLL group.
Also, ask at your local hospital/birthing unit, they should know, or should be able to put you onto someone who knows, like a lactation consultant.

Emmi the lactation consultant at Whangarei Hospital is really good Maybe give them a call, sorry I cant remember her name though......

Thats great, thanks guys. Ive been trying to organise my brothers GF who is 20 weeks today. I found her the info on the La Leche League and found the number for the lactation consultant and have given it to her.
