Canestan

Is it okay to use canestan on my itti's? And is it best to use it in the pre-rinse or in the final rinse? DS's nappies are a bit whiffy of late & I thought it might help freshen them up. Is there anything else I should try instead?

I normally do a cold-pre-rinse in the top loader, then wash them on warm using Ecostore powder & put a tiny bit of vinegar in the fabric softener dispenser for the final rinse.
