Hopefully someone can help me, I need to fit our safe n sound carseat into a 4wd that has manual seat belts in the back, they don't retract, you have to adjust them to fit.

Is it ok to fit a carseat with those kind of seatbelts? Does anyone have a similar setup?

I'm hoping it will be ok seeing as the seatbelt isn't supposed to move much anyway. I have to have an anchor bolt fitted into the back too I think, but I'm going to check it out tomorrow. Unfortunately Plunket isn't there until Thursday but I need to have this done tomorrow, is there anyone else I can get to check it is fitted correctly (for free)?

You could take it to a babyonthemove supplier. They will be able to check and might do it for free.

You could always ring and ask.

i think you have to have a special locking clip if it isnt a retractable one. it should tell you with the manual.
