we had a ginger cat called colin. was a real spaz, lost him in an "animal custody batle" and he moved to Aukland with my ex and got his self run over by a car. he really suited his name.

Ooooh, I forgot to mention that I recycled the Trevor name to my guinea pig. Trevor the cat was tragically run over whilst still a kitten so I felt the name hadnt been used enough, so named Trevor the GP. The name must be jinxed cos he ran away/died (the official story from my hubby was that he ran away while I was away for a week, but I dont know??) So I will not be naming another animal Trevor!

Oh, just remembered an icky cat story.
I used to work at the TAB and one day this guy...can't remember his name Rickard? came in a bit upset. I asked him if he was okay, and he said no he'd had a big fight with his girlfriend. Anyway, they'd been house-sitting for some family friends. they had two cats. the cats got fed each night in the garage, so Richard locked up the garage and put out the catfood. He called the cats but only one came. He thought nothing of it and went to bed. The next day he noticed that the garage door was slightly ajar and thought maybe someone had tried to break in. he went to investigate to find that as he had locked the door, the second cat had tried to get, INdiana Jones style, but had lost! So it was squished under the door. So he buried it.
he told his girlfriend and she was really upset.
Two days later, the family came home. he wanted to spare his girlfriend the embarressment of telling them so walked in and explained that the cat had ran away and they hadn't seen it in a week. the family looked horrified and the girlfriend said she'd just told them the truth about what had happened. they were disgusted that he would lie about something like that and spent two hours yelling at him, and showing him photos of the cat "growing up". Afterwards he had it out with his girlfriend and she dumped him for being callous.
I thought it was hugely funny and giggled about it....well, it's six years later andi still do

Well my cat Scrappy (passed away this year at a grand old age of 18!) got her name because I REAAAAAALLY wanted a dog to name after Scrappy Doo (you know Scoobys cool nephew, hehehehe I was 8 give me a break)but our cat had other plans and decided to have her kittens under my blankets in my bed and I found them by putting my feet in to go to sleep icky... anyway, with so many kittens I had to have a cat instead of a dog so just called her Scrappy....
Man that is a long and boring story... sorry
