Also, what is a fertility monitor? Is it one of those things you spit on?

It makes sense to make sure the car is practical! Its not like putting your life on hold or anything, just making room for a baby in your life in the future Dont feel guilty, and dont tell yourself off, its totally normal and its not 'wrong'.

Hmm will be in Auck for the day on the 1st Oct (a friday), and maybe the saturday. We are taking a road trip up to see family in Whangarei but have an appointment for my green card on the friday so will be in auck on the 1st on our way to the coromandle for the next week. But thats not far from the 21st of sept so you might not be in town anyway!

Oh cool! Emmi if I don't get a BFP this month can I buy it from you? If you don't want to keep it that is for next time around
One question on it, is the test stick reusable or do you have to buy new ones all the time?

Well it we don't make it for a coffee in october I will be in Welly for Christmas and we will have our car with us so I take you out for coffee then instead I'll be there from 24th-27th, possibly a few days earlier even. I'm sure we can suss something out. I'll PM you my cellphone so if I do end up in Welly soon and time on my hands I can text you to see if you're free

Popping in here also to say hi, have been lurking but not up to much still yet.

\Interested in the aspirin debate, am considering trying this next time round. Google frenzy yesterday seems to suggest 81mg is the low-dose’ ness but I see there’s different amounts .

Bobsta, I recognise that feeling too, from last time, but it completely conflicted at the time with the fear of going through mc again. Complete opposite feelings at the same time, yeah I’d sit and look at my bfp temps as if that holds some magic secret info! I also wonder if, last year, it was some kind of immediate automatic feeling to wanting to be ‘not empty’ again. But that was quite soon post mc, and its been a few months for you, so maybe not?
I think cos everything has dragged out this time, being preggy seems like something distant now, it does stick round every thought but seems less real.
Forward planning can’t be bad though (re the car thing?). I guess its part of contemplating the future, and is a good thing to do. Although I like to err on the side of reverse psychology (if I plan or buy something that is completely incompatible with new baby, then you can guarantee bfp will be soon) but don’t let that sway you!

Will be interested to know how you get on with PsychK didi. Never heard of it, but sounds interesting . . .

Morning girls!

Temp drop for me this morning so AF should be in full swing by tomorrow. Figured that would be the case this month .... I'm blaming the earthquake. Haha... At least there wern't any tears this morning, taking it all in my stride. So thats good, must be getting back to my old self. I promised myself I'd treat myself each month it didn't happen so watch out shops! I'm not gonna temp this month, just gonna take a break every few months so that it doesn't rule my life. I know when I ov anyway, seems to stay around day 16. Maybe I will have my June baby after all

Hope you are holding up ok Spanky - I'm taking aspirin, 150mg which was prescribed by my specialist.
Hi everyone else!! Ok, back to work for me....

Glad you are feeling more like your old self Mrsh, yay for shopping, I treated myself to a facial and a massage a couple of weeks ago it was fantastic.
FX for June babies for us all.
spanky psych-K was great really uncovered alot of things I wasn't conciously aware of, but do make sense when I think about them, will definately be going back.
Something else my naturopath has me doing, not sure if anyone else wants to try it, it's kind of funny. But I have to lay or sit quitely somewhere close my eyes and mentally go into my womb and decorate it for the new baby to be (i.e. sweep it out, put curtains up, paint it, pictures etc) then around ov time I have to put a welcome mat out. A bit strange I know but I think sometimes the mind is a powerful tool.

Mrsh, gah to temp drop. Good on you not temping, don't think I could myself. Like to know those figures everyday. FX the stepback approach works

diDi, yeah I googled PsychK after I saw it here. Did you get someone else to do it or was this through your naturopath? Is there hypnosis involved at all? How does it work, is it like one of themthere guided meditation thingy's? How do you access your subconsciou/belief patterns? I like the idea of it, figyring out belief patterns through journalling, but its quite long winded (as you can probably guess from my ramblyposts).

Thats cute about your womb. I always think of the lining as the baby's wallpaper, but figured I was just being warped. And deconditioned tummy flab= pillows
Welcome mat!! Of course! IUD (not that you'd have one if ttc) could be like the cot mobile!!

Oooooh I like the idea of 'decorating' my womb! I strongly believe in the power of the mind etc, it has to be a good thing. I have a good feeling about this cycle coming up, will try and cut back on the vino, up the exercise and eat nice and healthy. I also have yoga starting on Oct 7th so that will be good for me too. Nice to feel in control of things again
I am tempted to see a naturopath as well Didi....but will see how things go over the next few months.
I am addicted to temping a bit Spanky.....but ho hum.....nice to have a break every now and then.
Fingers crossed for us all to have June babies

Can't hurt to see a naturopath as well as doing what the specialist has recomended MrsH, I think these things can work well together.
spanky, the lady I saw to do Psych-K is a psychologist/theripist who was recomended to me, they do also have a woman at motherwell (were my naturopath is based) who does it, but I liked going with the one that was recomended.

I love the idea of womb decorating Imagine going into to mitre10 and telling a sales person you need a welcome mat to put in your womb, LMAO!
It's a really goo way to thing about things in a good positive way.

Didi I'm so glad the psychK is working out for you!

Sorry about AF MrsH
Great to hear that you've had a tear free day though and Im sure a bit of retail therapy to will help put a smile on for you too.

Well I saw my naturopath today and she's super stoked with my progress but really wants me to do a detox now which means I can't TTC while I do that. Poos.
So I told her after the 2WW I will start it. Overall it's best for me and bubs to be a stong as possible so I will put of TTC while I detox. Bad news is though I can't do a 1 month pill based detox as I can't digest pills so I have to do a 2 month liquid based one instead. Hmm, 2 months of not TTC!? Crap.

I did something similar, I imagined the egg maturing and then being released, going down the tube, meeting sperm, multiplying, implanting etc... so the same idea

oh gosh bobby! I hope the detox works and then the next month your utd!! your strong!

Oh crap bobsta, it is so hard waiting when you just want to get on with it, hugs hun. I know how frustrating it is so feel free to vent if you need it.

Oh and sorry spanky I forgot to say in my last post they don't hypnotise you in pshyic-K, they do what they call muscle testing. Basicly you hold your arm out and say a statement then she pushes your arm slightly if it holds steady then you suconciously think it is true, if it drops then it's not.

Hi girls

Just thought I'd pop in with some good news :)

Got very faint BFP last night then tested again this morning with FMU and very slightly darker. It's CD 26 but my 2 previous cycles have been 25 days so thought I'd test according to that. Have been taking aspirin for the past 2 weeks and got my prescription for Provera today . Also called FA and had a BT this morning and they are ringing me this afternoon with the results and if confirmed, will discuss their early preg clinic :)

Feeling apprehensive and I know this feeling won't really go away until 12 weeks and I see a healthy bubba... fingers crossed :)

Good luck to everyone else testing soon!

Oh wow congrats Tinkerbelle!!!!!! Best news ever and you just made my day. I love it when people on here that have had troubles get a BFP. You so deserve it and I really hope it's a super duper sticky one. Totally natural to be anxious, I don't think any of us will be any different.

Didi I might need to vent every now and then so thanks for saying that I woke up today and was really really down about it. I ended up leaving for work 30 mins earlier than I normally do and went for a big walk in the domain while listening to my mc song. Sounds really depressing but I really needed the time to myself. Today was the first day in ages where I have thought about my mc and thought about how far along I would have been today
Feeling better now though, just needed to take that time out to feel a bit sad today. Now I can just deal with it if I'm not UTD this month.

Congrats Tinkerbelle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is fantastic news, so stoked for you. I cant understand that you must be feeling aprehensive, I hope you have lots of love and support around you for the next 12 week. Lots and lots of sticky vibes coming from me!

Not sure what is going on with me this month. Still no sign of AF but temps not high enough to be UTD. Maybe all the drama with the earthquake has delayed things for a bit. A 14 day LP is kind of odd for me though. Dont feel pregnant either    I will test on the weekend if no sign of the old witch then. Wish mother nature would stop playing tricks on me. Old cow.
