Hi Guys,


I was just told that one kid at Day care had chicken pox and to watch out for it and that Zaara might get it. Not tooo worried but was just thinking does it affect the baby?? I had Chicken Pox when I was young so I am not to worried about me.

Has any one got any ideas if it affects the bub? Or do I google?? LOL

DONT GOOGLE!!! lol, i totally freaked myself out when kayla had hand foot and mouth while i was pregnant after googling! still dont think i learnt my lesson and will always google

anyway, i dont think that there should be any problems if you have had chickenpox before, i "think" its more if you havent and you are exposed to it.

this happpened to me when pregnant(i was working at preschool) my mw said it would be fine as i had already had chickenpox.. ( i assume she was right :) )

Baby gets your immunity and since you've already had it you should both be fine even if Zaara gets it.
A girl I know actually caught CP when she was 3 months preggy and both her and bubs were fine.

Im not really sure about the chicken Pox thing but Id say baby wold be fine, but ring your midwife if you are worried
