We have a Mother's Choice one that I love (It's 10 years old though as MIL friend gave it to us. (She actually gave us 2 as she had twins!))
One problem is it only has one level which is low iygwim. The mattress height can't be adjusted higher for a NB.

I wouldnt buy a mothers choice now - Im talking last year - we took ours back after our little girl, then 1 got stuck in it - even with the right mattress etc etc I had to get DH to help me wedge her arm out - the gaps at the head and end of the cot are too wide
Have a genesis from the baby factory now, stupidly expensive but I love it
If I was buying today Id get a mocka - very funky and practical

I really liked the Genesis ones! But didn't get one because we got our 2 free.
I liked them due to their size and the one we looked at could be converted into a little bed after iygwim.
However it wouldn't have fit well in her room as they are American size and bigger than normal standard size cots.

We got ours online from The Cot Store. It was really reasonable, and it looks great and is really sturdy.

I love my touchwood cot - brilliant that it starts off as a bassinet hieght, then drops donw to cot, converts to toddler bed, and then a "couch" for the kids room (strong enough to sit two adults comfortably).

We have a Groyears. It's lovely.
Since moving Hannah to her big bed last year we took the side off it and she uses it as a couch for reading, and all her soft toys sit on it.

We have a Heart and Home Cambridge cot and love it. They're made in NZ, from rimu, and are very solid and well made.

I love the genesis cots! Unfortunately we didn't buy a cot until I was nearly ready to pop and money was a bit tight, so went with a farmers one. Though I must say the farmers one isn't half bad! I think it's a rosa cot.
