Harvie gets with some babies and just starts crying. I have no idea why. He gets really upset. Some times he doesn't care. He goes to daycare one day a week and they haven't mentioned that he does this there. I wonder if he thinks that because there is another baby there that I am going to leave him there. Or maybe he just doesn't like other bubs in his house? He has done it in other people's homes as well. It isn't all the time though. I can't pick when he will do it either. UG !!

I think its normal for their age. JJ is ten months next week, and is mostly great with other kids, especially older ones, but last week, his brother's brother (LOOONNNGG story - my hubbys ex wifes new baby, brother to my hubbys son to ex wife is the shortest version?)started with the same carer last week (pure coincidence as we (the mothers) don't exactly get along well). Caregiver said JJ grizzeled and cried every time she picked other baby up (2 months younger than JJ)but she said that is normal for their age, that at 10 months they are in a clinghy phase when it suits them? Good luck and WELCOME to Oh Baby!

You sound like a blast!!! he he he.

Harvie blows kisses. He LOVES adults, and is usually fine around other bubs, but if one starts crying... whoa. He does too. My sensitive new age guy.

i was about to say that my daughter at around that age was the same! she would smother any other baby/kid with a cuddle or a kiss! it was mostly cute but a bit embarrasing too!

That is what I am thinking. Harvie just needs to be with other bubs more and "get over it" he he he. Poor kid. Oh well. I am sure he will be a well rounded chap when he gets older. For crying out loud with a Canadian Mum, Aussie Dad and living in NZ.... I should hope so.
