ohhhh naughty Nat......my DH would kill me if i did that!! LOL

As for births and complications etc, if i get the green light from DH one day I will be getting a full medical clearance first as i would like to know if theres a risk of me having another stroke and also having blood pressure issues in theatre cos that stuff was all very scary and life threatening. and i want to be around for my current children more than i want another baby........as much i badly want one i wouldnt want to put my life at risk to do it.

Be back on later, we been out all day and Jesse just waking up

Lou - My Dad gets horrible eczema, and he is one of a rare group that is allergic to Pinetarsil. Wonder if thats the same with you maybe?

Nat - you naughty girl!!! He doesn't appear to care too much though

Tina - When I had Mac on solids (only for a week then stopped again) his poos changed a bit. Just the consistency though. I found it to be more...errmmm...pastier???

I gave Mac an apple quarter this morning to chomp on (supervised). He was screaming something wicked last night, I'm almost sure it was his teeth hurting but it could also have been something to do with the chocolate I ate yesterday.
I figured I'd give some dairy a try and see what happens with Mac. So I'll try again in a week and see if I get the same reaction or not. Hopefully I can start eating dairy again.

Well...next weekend I'm moving...back to Tokoroa.
My choice, not the courts. Moving into my own house.
I decided that I had 2 options, fight to go to Hamilton, knowing that it would become an all out war and there would be no way Mac's dad and I could even talk to each other at the end of it, or compromise and go back to Tok and make the most of it for myself.
I've decided on the latter of the two options and although it's not my ideal, I'm ok with the decision and I'm already working on getting as much support around myself as I can and I'm going to try to go up to Hamilton once a fortnight and go to my antenatal group get togethers too.

I just couldn't live with myself if things got so bad that Mac's Dad and I couldn't even be within earshot of each other. Just imagine Mac's birthdays...his parents can't be there cause they can't stand the sight of each other.
Not to say things are great between the two of us but we can talk at the moment and we need to be able to keep things that way as a minimum...for Mac.

Good on you Carin about being the bigger person..........so sad that Macs Dad being the age he is couldnt do the same.............and him being him will just see you moving there as him winning and not you compromising!!
Just dont compromise on too much more. keep yourself as the primary caregiver though otherwise that will be too confusing and you may lose your bond with Mac over time (thats what happened with my first, we were very close but that disappeared over time, where as Liams its gotten stronger over time etc)

man its raining cats n dogs here and neither me or DH wants to cook but i sure aint going out in this!!

Jesse being the poo factory at the moment did a poo, i changed him he did another one, i was changing him again and he pooed on his play mat, i then cleaned that up and just managed to catch another one with a wipe!!

Someone suggested leaving bub in the capsule until he's 9kg or so but I'm not very confident that he'll have enough room in there. He's already pretty dang long.

Don't buy the carseats through babyonline as I got one and it is not safe. We purchased one and had it secured it like it said and the carseat had way too much movement rear facing and still a little bit of movement ff so we had to return it. Also, euro carseats don't always work in jap import cars so maybe go to one of their stores or baby stores and see if you can see if it fits in your car before buying.

Lou you wont regret getting one.....hopefully it will fit in your car mine isnt a big car and no problems getting it in there. I only got mine july last year but if I had got one from the get go would be about 2.5 years now. I reckon if Megan was a couple of inches shorter she would have another year maybe 2 in which I could RF her (if we werent getting the radian).

I mentionedd to DH about Lucas weight gain and said he wasnt as much as I thought he was but then mentioned he might just end up being a tall skinny boy and DH said he was for a while..so not too worried

Wow this is a busy forum.

Way cool about Corban sitting by himself manda.

Nats - love the pic, very cheeky of you! I have put Leah in a blue stretch and grow when the others were all in the wash and thought how funny that because of her age, she could so look like a boy or girl.

Carin, your such a wonderful person. That is very big of you to stay there. Also I think what Lou said is good to, re compromising. You need to be happy to hun.

Well I have eczema - no where near as bad as some of you ladies, but def sucks. I have it right around one of my nipples and it's driving me nuts. I really don't know how you do it Lou!

Leah on more formula than bm at the moment and she hasn't done a poo in 3 days, so quite worried about that. Gave her some warmed boiled water earlier, so will hopefully have some action soon.
My supply is like a roller coaster. Some days she is happy to bf heaps, so in a couple of days I'm engorged like I was at the beginning and then she refuses it, so supply goes down. At least I know it can go up and it's not all over I guess.

Thanks Jasmine, I am feeling more confident about getting one and if babyfactory let me swap my other seat over, i will end up with $100 left over that i would be happy for a store credit cos im sure i will use it and TBH Liam could do with a new booster also.

Im gonna do a unofficial weigh on jesse tomorrow. Hes just looks soooo podgy im interested to know how much hes gained with all this eating hes been doing. Looking back at Liams pics he was really podge too but you would never think it cos he thinned right out and and is a wee dot, short and scrawny. Dont think hes ever gonna make it off the first row in school pics.......lol.....i never did

Manda - well done on corban sitting. makes things easier huh. I sit Jesse in front of me and he leans forwards and holds his weight while grabbing at things.

Karen - sorry to hear about your ecezma. I had that for a while in the beginning altho we werent sure if it was thrush or ecezma. it cleared up eventually but i dont think the thrush stuff was the reason it cleared up. was very red and angry though.
BTW there is no way Leah could pull off being a boy shes way to porcelined looking with such petite finer features......

Its gonna be hard to hold Jesse out on solids til 6months if he keeps eating the way hes eating, im getting tired of feeding so much.....i did hear this growth spurt lasts a while......but hey its using up more calories to help me lose more weight (or eat more choc)

Took me awhile to get that picture too nat, very funny.

Hope things start looking up for you carin.

sorry to hear about the eczema kazper what an awful place to have it. Good on you for your perseverance with breast feeding . You too chickielou with all your eczema.

Elijah is on the move now. Every time you put him on the floor he rolls onto his tummy. Then pushes himself forward. NOOOOOOO. The kids are under strict instructions now no little toys in the lounge.

He also has been waking once during the night instead of sleeping through now most nights. Maybe he needs dinner just feeding him lunch. Don't now where he puts it he still is so little.

Haha Lou it's hard to imagine my daughter as a porcelain doll etc when she is squealing at the top of her lungs and being grizzly. Guess if all I saw was pics like you, guys I might think that to. So nice and quiet in pictures

Kind of wish Leah would want to eat a lot. I can't make trips to town around her feeds anymore cause she is random for when she decides she is hungry. She has really only just started sleeping right through the night. The last few nights, we will put her down for a nap at 6pm and wake her up 30-45 minutes later for bath, feed, cuddles and then bed. She has been waking around 6:30-6:45am for the day. I so want to stretch it out to 7am, but I shouldn't worry too much, as long as I'm sleeping through to that time, it's not a big deal.

Wow Elijah slow down buddy! That must be so scary having him on the move so quick.

Hes doing everything fast aye Larrl.......hard when its your last? you want them to do it slower. Ive been on Liam to start picking up his toys etc, mostly for my sanity at this stage and him learning to clean up after himself.
Jesse moves around in circles still and does the odd roll both ways, slowly does it just the way i like it.

Jesse woke at 430am for a feed and i cant help myself but we have a chat and a play for a few mins then i put him back to bed. He then woke at 730am and played until 8am, so cute. then DH got him up until i could hear him grizzling for food at 830am. so a nice little sleep in.

Its really sunny today so far so want to get as much washing as poss done early cos my stupid landlord put the washing line in a place that only gets sun half the day........he only needed to move it 2mtres and it wouldve got all day sun.

Going to make a hummingbird cake today now i have my cake tins. dont see me losing any weight this week now cos that cake is to die for (well ive never cooked it so who knows if mine will be the same)

haha Nat thats funny maybe one to haunt Liam at his 21st aye.

Mum2Mac - Big hugs you are doing such a fantastic job, with all you are going through, your stength and single minded determination to do whats best for mac, is truely selfless and show's there's no boundries to the love a mothers feels for her child.

Larrl - awesome that Elijah is on the move, I'm so looking forward to the day when sasha rolls  and does the same but my chubby little sasuage still just lies there.

Jasmine - wow I would of though lucas would of been a bit heavier, but as long as he appears content, happy and healthy thats the main thing. don't know if this will relate to you in anyway but, My SIL's little girl was an awesome sleeper like lucas, and she had slow weight gain too, my SIL was so concerned and started waking her up during the night for an extra feed and by doing that the weight gain increased, once she went onto solids slow weight gain was no longer a problem.

Kazper - Sux about the eczema and sucha  nasty place too, hope it clears up quickly.

Michhell - wow Antun has had awesome weight gain over the last month, most of our babies are starting to slow down a little bit with the weight gain department, but it looks like he must be drinking mega milk.

Lou -I hear you on the poo machine, Sasha's been doing lots of poos too, big runny ones, the type that escape the nappy very quickly, not much fun aye.

also just wondering how many feeds are your babies taking each day? Sasha has been taking 10-12 feeds a day and waking at night, she seems so hungry lately. I was hoping it was just  a growth spurt but it's lasted for the last couple of weeks. I had thought the days of engorged boobs were over but on the odd ocasion where sasha does sleep for over 4 hours, I have to express as it's to uncomfortable to sleep.

Just curious do your babies look like you or your DP/DH? I look at sasha and I don't  really see any thing from my side of the family, sasha certainly taken after DP's side. When sasha was a new born she looked like DP's dad, but as sasha has grown she looks quite a bit like DP's sister.
