You could try a dental nurse in your area, I know around here and back down home dental nurses will do fillings for a reasonable price, like $10 a tooth or something like that.

Have you got a community services card? If so your local Hospital may have a special clinic that they run usually about $25 per appt.

Or phone around dentists and see if any are doing specials at the moment. But if you have a dentist that you normally go to then i would stick with him/her.

I have had the same problem with my teeth, so i went to the dentist and she told me i needed lots and lots of fillings. The total cost was $360 and she is letting me pay it off, which is good.
My dentist doesn't take community services card which really sucked.

no dentists dont take community service cards big suckers to that!

I work as a dental assistant, and our prices are the average throughout nz i'll tell u our prices so give or take a few dollars
Exam (consultation) 45 with xrays 60 -but if u are preggers u should NOT be having xrays -the radiation is harmful to unborns
clean -95 or exam 2xrays + clean (scale and polish) 125
Fillings range in price depending on the size of the hole and if u get a silver (amalgam) or white (composite) filling but from 85-305

sorry i didnt put the dollar signs in -too lazy

so yeah dunno if that will help at all

I bet you my dentist has a boat, if not two or three, from what he earns ! Which is a large part of why I hate going. I struggle to justify what they charge even just for a checkup

Im so lucky, I get dental for free through the hospital but hardly ever go cos Im to chicken (part of the reason I get it for free) They cant do much while your pregnant though well they wouldnt do xrays for me last time I went when I was about 8 weeks along. I think I would rather go through childbirth than go to the dentist I hate it so much

i get treatment for free too, part of the perks of my job (only perk really ..oh and i get an hour for lunch) and caitlyn also gets it free (if she comes to mine instead of the dental nurse, which is free anyway) my parents and siblings have 35% discount and friends have 10% discount.

but dental prices are still ridiculously high
