Or feel 100% sure you were, but it turned out you werent?

The reason I am asking is that I feel like I am, but don't want to get my hopes up.  I can't stop myself from thinking I am though.

I thoguht for sure that this cycle was a bust due to being sick around O and not having enough BDing going on.  But I have so many symptoms (hopefully not imaginery) and I feel pregnant.  I am so tired, but it takes ages to get to sleep.  My boobs (which are huge anyway) feel so heavy and sore.  I dry-retched at Bethany's weetbix this morning.  I am tired as, and have had a couple of weird vivid dreams.  Each symptom individually would be nothing, but all together?  These are exactly the same really early symptoms I felt with my last 2 pregnancies, even though both ended in m/c.

I have done a test which was negative, but its still 2 days before is hould even think about testing.  I don't even want to think about the possiblity, cos if I'm not pg, the disappointment will be so hard to deal with.  But I can't stop thinking it anyway!  ARGH!

Thanks Rachel.

I hope so too - it's been 18 months of disappointments and thats why I am hating feeling so hopeful now.  I know how hard it will be if my feelings are wrong.

it took 18 months for me to get my first positive, then i concieved with no problems for my last two (middle child was a very unexpected suprise) there had been a few times that i though i might be and turned out i wasnt which TOTALLY guts ya aye?! each month that AF arrived i'd kind of "mourn" for the baby which wasnt.. does that make sense?? try not to read too much into your symptoms just in case, but remain positive too... fingers crossed for you....

Me too... that's how I felt this time! I don't get a result until I'm nearly 6 weeks either, so I had to wait to find out!

It took us 5 months to fall pg with Bethany, and I really felt like it was forever!  I can laugh at that (a lot!!) now.

I wish I was lucky enough to not have a problem this time around, but things are how they are.  I serisouly got sick of hearing "You'll fall in quicker the 2nd time" from well meaning older relatives!  haha.  Since of course we didnt tell everyone when we started TTC, they were still saying these things when it had been nearly a year already.

I do understand exactly what you mean by mourning the baby that wasn't.  I do that too.  Hopefully I won't be disappointed this month, I jsut wish there was a way to not feel so hopeful.  I tell myself its not real, but it's pretty impossible to trick your own brain.  lol

I soo hope that my instincts are as good as yours were Becca!

This is the first time since my last loss that I have really felt this way - even with my 3 clomid cycles I really never felt pregnant.

Whichever way it goes though, I hope I dont have to wait til 6 weeks!  I have no patience so would bankrupt us by buying HPTs!!  lol.  Now I think about it, I probably wouldn't, I'd jsut get my fertility clinic to do bloods.  haha.

the first time with jack i was sure i tested a day before AF and was negative. i was sure i wasn't preggy as i had no symptoms at all, so it came to a surprise when i tested again 2wks later and got the BFP!

this time i just knew when i tested 2 days after AF was due that it would be a positive. i had no symptoms again but just knew within myself that i was.
anyway, best of luck for the next week or so!!!!!

Oh Trish - you have a ticker!!!!  That makes me so happy to see.

Hopefully I will be joining you soon.

funny about the tests - you know I would so do it, but I don't know if those tests are sensitive enough without using FMU that early on.  lol

Thanks jezsika!  I really really hope I am, but I know how devasted I will be if I'm not.

I must look like a total perve (thank god I'm at home so no one can see me) - I keep grabbing my boobs to make sure I'm not imagining that they are heavier.  lol

I told my dh that I feel pg, knowing he'd tell me I'm imagining it.  He didnt suprise me.  lol.  And I know whenever I do get pregnant he won't count it as real for a while.  Thats incredibly frustrating, but I know he'd be worried about another loss.

I'm so stoked the clomid worked so well for you.  If this isn't it for me, I am hoping to talk the nurses at the clinic into getting my doc to give me a script for this cycle. Esp since I had the hsg and it cleared a tube - I may be luckier with it.  I have an appt next week to see him, but it would be too late by then.  bugger.

Good luck Tarsh I hope you are pregnant! I think I can feel the dreaded AF coming so I am feeling a bit disappointed, although haven't hit rock bottom like I did last month
I'm ever hopeful though... I just read the other thread about whether people knew they were pregnant or not, and a lot of the girls say that they were sure that AF was coming as they had all the usual symptoms but they ended up with a BFP instead! So who knows...
Your symptoms sound promising Tarsh, I will keep my fingers crossed for you..

Tarshaa - If you do end up needing clomid (which i cross everything that you dont) make sure u take it at night when you go to bed coz it lessens the side effects HEAPS.

Thanks Lizzle, that gives me hope.

I did a stupid thing and tested this morning (I jsut cant help myself) and it was a BFN.    I'm feeling pretty crappy now, cos I had BFNs by now with that brand of HPT with my 2 last pregnancies.  But who knows.

Trish is giving me some tests tomorrow, so I will test Thursday if theres no sign of AF by then.

I really hate TTC!!!

lol Vanessa!  I guess we're all crazy while TTC.  heh.

I'm not holding out too much hope.  I still have symptoms, but did a silly thing and tested this morning.  BFN.  Trish is giving me some tests tomorrow, so if theres no sign of spot or AF by Thurs I will re-test.  I am a POAS addict I swear.
