Marks Doc just rang and told me he had a ZERO sperm count...Hooray no more pills or injections or Babies for me.....But then in the next breath he said...you have a 1 in 2000 chance of conceiving....
Seems odd if he has a zero sperm count!

Janine's Mike did last year. She might be able to shed some light for you.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

My partner had a vasectomy about 10yrs before I met him. He had it done in his early 20's.
Since being with him (8yrs), I have conceived 3 times, plus suspect 2 chemical pregnancies on top of that.
Whereas, partners he had before me never got pregnant.
Weird aye. We spoke to a specialist once and he just said 'these things happen'.

I guess some tricky spermies just make their way through sometimes. Same thing as with the clips and tubal ligations, sometimes sneaky eggs get through, there's always that minute chance of conceiving. They are both still the most effective methods of contraception...aside from no sex lol.

Well 1/2000th chance of conceiving, compared to 1/4 chance of conceiving each month is relatively fail proof!! lol

Maybe a zero count is something like 0/100 but if they went for a bigger number, it might actually look like 1/10,000? I wouldn't know but 1/2000 chance seems pretty slim to me as well!

Awww Catz that's sad that the decision was taken right out of your hands. Do you mean though that you're hoping for that 2000th chance?? Better get onto the BDing then
