Ok, here goes, the pics are to be quite frank, rubbish. But you will get the general idea. It has a heart in the middle with a diamond set in, then a diamond either side of the heart, and white gold filigreearound it. A poor representation, but a pic none-the-less!

Sorry for the hugeness, really the only way to get the detail!

Ok, so barring a total catastrophe, you should be able to get a good idea of it! Aint it pretty? I love how it sparkles (when its polished... been a while...) You can see why I dont want to take it off!

Thanks ladies! I still cant believe it happened, feels like a dream...!
Ginger, appropriate update to blog coming your way, after dinner that is! Cant be creative on an empty stomach now can I?
Ring is unusual aye? Ive never seen one like it, and her wedding ring was just as nice. She had an allergy to some metals so could only wear gold, what a shame...! I can think of worse allergies!

Thanks ladies, I am SOOOO excited!
I was half asleep, and thought I was dreaming! But not a dream...!
Im really glad I get to use my Grandmothers engagement ring, but it needs about $300 worth of repairs to the white gold claws that hold the diamonds in place. So Im wearing it but have been warned by the jeweller that Im seriously at risk of losing a stone. And its been valued at around $3000, so really cant afford to replace what is lost.
So, it looks like Im going to wear it for a few days, and then get a cheapie stand in until we can afford to have it repaired. sad
We're not sure where/when we are to be married, but the certainty is that Mum will be creating my dress, and a professional hairdresser friend of ours will be doing my hair, and her friend is a make up artist! So we're sweet there.
So much to plan! Looks like we will wait a year... |
Congrats!! My DP asked me to marry him last Sunday aswell!! I dont have a nice ring yet either, I just have a cheap one to wear untill a few weeks when we are going out to choose one together for me :)
It still doesnt feel real to me yet, I cant wait to start planning my wedding!
