 Topic: DS school got evacuated this morning!

A bit of excitement for the kids!! The flooding has been really bad here, so they evacuated the school this morning, they even had the army unimogs take the kids out of the school lol!! Heres a piccie taken from the top of our drive, you can see some of our road is underwater!!

wow. How exciting for them!! Hope the damage isnt too bad. Our house is still surrounded by water from our flooding. And its just started raining again

Crazy weather! I saw the HB flooding on the news just before. Hope it doesnt come much further south  Where abouts are you Char (around about, not exactly)?

lol Aimee, yep we are semi rural, about 10 mins from Napier! The kids had a great time, they all got evacuated to the local pub (of all places!! ).

I saw that on the news, was wondering who from here might be near... I bet the kids all think it's great fun! More holidays!!  Hope the rain settles soon though, it's a bit freaky (we almost got cut off by flooding in Feb04)
