I *should* know the answer to this, and I *used* to know the answer to this but I am completely blank atm!

How do the descent numbers work? Baby is currently D2, which my midwife describes as "pretty deep", am I remembering rightly that D4 is fully engaged?

D5 I think.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I just saw my midwife and she said I was 3/5 and when you are in labour you are 5/5... is that the same thing as what you are talking about?

Yeah I'm pretty sure D5 or 5/5 is labour and 4/5 is all systems go type thing....I think....

yep it starts at d1 or 1/5 as baby strats to decened and gos from there the only prob is that midwifes all use deff jurgan for that my midwife explaned it relly well

Im D3 nearly D4 and my mw said that I am jst about fully engaged.
