Okay, Taine is the biggest "touchy" kid ever and it is driving me nuts! IN particular the plug thing. OUr vacuum has a stupidly short cord. I hook it up to the plugs - all at Taine height I might add - and no sooner have i got it plugged in and started to vacuum than it dies - Taine has unplugged it. Repeat - continuously. Tried using the two plugs we have up higher - but had to use an extension - which he unplugged!!!! We have those plastic things in the plugs usually and he plays with those anyway, but seroulsy the vacuuming is taking me THREE HOURS!!! I have to sneak it> and can't vacuum while he's asleep as it wakes me up. any cures!????

Put him in the highchair with something to eat while you vacuum?

perhaps! the only problem is all thefood he drops while there - kinda defeats the point of vacuuming! Although I DO have a wonderful dustbuster. hmmmm, might be the one. Today he unpluigged my radio alarm clock.

i know how you feel. haleigh has a real fascination with our plugs she hides behind our curtains and plays with them (we never even knew there were any behind there either). everytime i vacuum she will unplug it and im forever telling her off or she will go switch the computer off at the wall if she isnt getting ehr own way.
im suprised all our electrical appliances are still working lol she is shocking.
haleigh knowsd how to escape out of ehr highchair whether shes strapped in or not cause we've tried the food in highchair thing but nope has never worked for us. sometimes i jsut sit her in ehr room to play with ehr toys while i do it, she loves her room (so we are searching for a suitable timeout room lol).maybe put him in hsi room with some toys jsut till you get the vacuuming done??

I got 1 of those touchy kids too. It doesnt help his dad is an electrictian & lets him "help" with home maintenance jobs. Needless to say our house hasnt had a good vaccuum for ages.
Normally i get him to help and we take turns. I have shown him what and why we use the vaccum and he thinks its funny to suck the bits up. He also rides the vacuum. Maybe you could get a toy vacuum for him to play with.

Otherwise yep it takes us ages to do it or it doesnt get done properly.

Piper just follows me pushing the vaccum clapping her hands and laughing, so I dont have to pull itsaround, I'm sure if she found the end of the cord she would definately pull it out of the wall, I was in the warehouse the other day and saw a fisher price toy vaccum that talks and stuff I think so am considering getting her one as she loves it when I vaccum

i shall invent something and go on "dragon's den" and make millions - or more likely spend ages making something up, and then someone will say "why didn't you go to blah blah store" and they wil have EXACTLY what I have done and my vision of making millions will go up in smoke.

bugger, forgot to get big wednesday ticket as well@!!!! we got a freebie last week and I haven't picked it up.
