Can anyone tell me (newbish facebook user) if I can post a picture directly to our closed baby group with out posting on my facebook page as I don't want my other facebook friends seeing them. Just the people in this particular group.

yup you just create a group named 'Baby group' Or what ever and put them who you want to see the photos in that group , then when you set up the group set the privacy on it and put only veiwable to that group... hope that makes sense??

BUt yes it can be done

AFAIK you can post photos to the group and only members of the group can view them, except that it might come up on your profile that you posted photos to the group, and it's possible for other members of the group to post photos from the group to their profiles (but you could ask people not to!).

Hang on, I'll go post a pic as a test and see if it comes up on my profile

yup it came up on my profile as saying I added a photo to the group, and showed the photo I added. But that could be the group's privacy settings!
