So I first got my first lot the same week as my BFP then got it sorted and then about 16-17weeks I got more so got it treated, but everytime since ill get itchy about 3-5days after treatment so im on cream for 5-7days free of it for 3-5days then itchy again so more cream for 5-7days it just feels neverending!!!
Im just so over it, but then I thought it mite be me been abit more senitive down there from washing powders while pregnant, but I asked hubby what hes like after we BD, and he said he gets a bit red and sore so im thinking yes its def thrush then, so is it possible that hes catching it off me then I get cleared up and he passes it back to me? And what treatment for men is there? Or could it be im ALOT more wetter down there with this pregnancy that bacteria is just grower easier??
Sorry for all the Q's I just really need some answers coz im scared i mite rip off my fanny PLEASE HELP!!!

Yes you can pass it back and forth.. treatment for him would be thrush cream aswell.. smothered on 2 times per day. No BD untill it's gone.
I hope you get it sorted soon.. Thrush SUCKS!

As a preventative for thrush, I use pinetarsol gel to wash those sensitive areas. I used to get thrush 4-5 times a year but havn't had any in years because of using this. Might help in future |

Is it like a bodywash? Where do you get it from?

Have you had a swab to check that it is actually thrush? There is a bacterial infection that has the same symptoms as thrush too. Might be an idea to get your mw or gp to check for you? And perhaps it might be good for hubby to get a swab done too? Just to ensure you're being treated for the right thing!

Sounds like you are passin it back and forth to me. My hubby and I did this when TTC, it was gross. and it took both of us using the cream tig et rid of it all together.

Pinetarsol gel is an alternative to soap, and also stops itching. I get it from the pharmacy. It got suggested to me when I had thrush once to stop the external itching and I've never stopped using it, as when I go on holiday without it the thrush shows signs of coming back rapidly. |
