I know you can drink this stuff as a breatfeeding Mum but I really really hate the smell and taste of Aniseed. I think I remember someone saying to give it to Blake for his gas?

Where do you get it and how much would I give him do you think?

For two days I have really restricted mine and his diet and he has been worse than ever!

Arrrrggggghhh!

yep you can take fennel tea but if you dont like the taste you can get the tablets. I would go to a good health shop because they might be able to give you other stuff too!

It was me that suggested it! I am from Germany and there it is totally normal to give your baby fennel tea also chamomile etc.

I have hunted high and low and couldn't find tea here so had to buy fennel seeds at the helth food shop and brew my own tea. I used a 2/3 teaspoons for a litre of hot water and let it seep like tea. Just remove the seeds when you feel it is strong enough - you won't hurt baby with it strong but he might just not like it vey much if it's too strong - I know some mums who add honey to sweeten it - I never did and Joey drinks it without happily.

I just used to fill a bottle with it like I would if it was water and let him drink what he wanted. You could try feding it on a teaspoon to get it in if Blake really doesn't want it.

Another gas remedy is caraway seeds boiled up but this only give a few teaspoons and it tastes pretty yuk! but it does work!!
