Ok so everytime I read your posts I have tears in my eyes.

This is the beginning a long and windy road for you, I hope it to be full of many joys and milestones for you to share as a family.

The photos are just perfect

I have a feeling that once you're back in your own home in NZ that you'll have felt some of that 'closure' you are looking for - just like a mum like me looks forward to being home from the hospital. I'm so glad everything is working out well! Do you mind sharing why you decided to adopt? (I'm a really curious person lol)

what a beautiful family you have, mia looks so happy with you and DH   i think GandT's idea is lovely, maybe you could do something when you get back home to celebrate your new beginning as a family.

as for pics of mia, you'll never have enough! even the kids ones with the heads cut off are still on my computer

Thank you for sharing this incredible moment in your lives with us. You are a beautiful family, and clearly you have so much love to share and Mia is such a lucky little girl to have "found" you both.

Congratulations!

Wow Leah! Just caught up on your posts. Congratulations for becoming a mummy. Your family photos are adorable!

Great to hear that adoption is still working. I was adopted out when I was born, and I look back and know that it was for the best, and that I had a loving family to be brought up with. I have since met my birth mum and dad, but it's my adopted family that is my true family - and always will be.

Sending you and your family lots of love and hugs and kisses. Well done
