Hi everyone

I am 3 months pregnant. Am I able to have fish and chips seeing as though they are deep fried? Are they pre-cooked?

Thanks :)

Ummm... I"ve eaten them and been fine.  I think being deep-fried, they're cooked under really hot conditions so they're OK.

Yum Fish and chips, I had them on the weekend and have been fine. Just watch out afterwards as they can make you gassy and feel a bit queesy.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Great - thanks for all your fast replies!

Does that mean I could have a deep fried scallop too? That would be the icing on the cake :)

I lie!! Apparently you can if it is fresh and cooked steaming hot (/fried to bits)

Enjoy!

Hey, on that site I found that you are able to eat soft cheeses provided they are served hot... so those ladies with a camembert craving... deep fried camembert should be fine! (p.s. Hell Pizza has this. Just make sure you ask for it to be hot hot hot)

Thanks! I'll definitely have the fish but have second thoughts about the scallop. I'm sure fish will be more than enough!

We had fish and chips the other night....with a spring roll and a pineapple fritter.....great now I'm hungry.

I must admit to eating soft cheeses on occassion so long as they kiwi ones....(pasturised and all that)
