Get your seat changed??? Sorry not sure. When I flew with the older kids I always made sure I had an aisle seat up the front and/or back.

I prefered a window seat. That way I could get on first and get settled rather than have people trying to get over me and baby! It also meant I wasnt holding everyone up at the other end. There is no room in ANY seat.

We flew to Wellington when Gina was 10 months old or so and we had a window seat - I agree there is no room on any seat unless you're lucky to get one by the fire exits maybe?

If there's enough seats they'll probably move anyone next to you anyway, so you'll get the best of both worlds We've had that happen on nearly every flight I've gone on with Seb (so about 4 out of 5) and the one that wasn't, he was 18 months.

I took Seb down to dunedin at 8 months... wasn't that bad, he did cry a bit while landing/taking off. 13 months was HORRID though. Screamed the entire flight... And then at 18m wasn't so bad again.

Okay, so I should call Air NZ and let them know now that I have a baby so that they can block out that middle seat for me?? I go the 19th of June and come back on the 25th so hopefully I have enough time to do what I have to do before the entire flight is booked

It's only from Akld to Wgtn, you hardly even take off before you're landing again, the flight is very short

definitely try for a window seat so you can feed in privacy if BF and as Nzpiper says you board first if you have a baby and so you can get all settled with bottle/food/toys close by before people come without interruption

We can't block out seats and as you have already checked in online we can't amend your seating, just as at check in and they will amend it for you.
