Jack's 3rd birthday next month will be at lunch time and some of the ideas I have for the kids (and adults ) are:
sausage rolls
cherrios
fairy bread
jelly
pikelets (if I have time)
ice cream
bananas dipped in chocolate then frozen
mousetraps

I was trying to do easy stuff as my parents move house the day before so everyone will be busy helping them plus kids at that age don't tend to appreciate fancy fiddly food so I just try and do the basics

Fairy bread is the big winner in our house most years. First plate gone every time or pikelets with sprinkles. Got to do the fairy bread. If you want to make it a bit more interesting you can use a cookie cutter to make it into shapes.
