I've been away with work for a couple of days so haven't seen this for myself, but Caitlin has been going to get her potty (she has used a potty for months for #2s due to her constipation issues), putting it down in front of her toy box (that's where we sit her on it), then going to get my mum going "Ta ta ta" (this is please and thank you) leading her back to the potty and pulling at her pants. Mum then gets her undressed to sit on the potty and she gos straight away!

I would have thought she would have been way too young to do all that!?!?! Does this mean she's ready for potty training?

why not - maybe you'll get lucky and she will do it all herself... mind you until she can take off her own clothes its still going to be a pain. Sounds like she doesnt like yucky nappies...

oh no, no more nappies!!!! lucky you.

but you know mums tho, maybe shes exagerated it slightly. wait till you see it for yourself perhaps, or just let your mum do it for you...

ok rambling now...

she's been taking her tops off for ages (long sleeve t-shirts and cardigans). My daughter is a streaker and when she's in leggings she pulls at them but hasn't quite got the idea that they come down from the waist, she pulls at the hip or trys to pull them off like socks lol

I don't think we are close to TT-ing for wees because I'm finding I have to change her literally every 2 hours at the moment because she is drinking a huge amount of water, perhaps just a novalty thing with a mini-pump bottle?

I just read the post with the PAFT info and can tick off a lot of the stuff other than her telling us verbally or being dry for long periods.

Mum said that my sister and I were both fully TT'd early and within 2-3 months over summer

Maya was fully TTed at 22 months, she took off her own nappy one day and got on the toilet and that was that.

Who knows, only time will tell if Miss C is ready to ditch the nappies, but sounds promising!

I was an early TT baby, so if she wants to do let her. Just follow her cues but don't push it in case it goes the other way.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I'd just run with whatever she is trying to do and keep the nappies on until you start noticing that they are staying dry. If nothing else, count it as early TT!

My neighbour's wee boy who is 4 days younger than Ella was fully TT'd by about a year and a half. I was amazed and sooooo envious!
It'll be great for you if she's ready to go with TT! Ella's just got the hang of it properly in the last 2 months.
(She proudly tells all and sundry how she is a big girl going on the toilet by herself )
