I read on another site that the production of fuzzi bunz is moving back to the states so there will be no more mexican made fuzzis...

Is this true?

Good on them if it is!

Not to sure to be honest, I haven't heard anything recently.

At this stage Honey Child are no longer importing Fuzzis though so I don't know if Charity will renegotiate.

Yep it's true! But to be honest I think the name and the reputation has been damaged beyond repair and I would suggest people be very wary before buying new-USA made FBs.

The old USA made FBs are excellent though and even though we (Honeychild) won't be selling them, I highly recommend them. Caitlin has been in the mediums for over a year now and they are still in perfect condition

I think I will still stick to Honey child instead of Fuzzi Bunz... I really like them :) My stash of nappies is so huge now!

Oh that would be great. I have to say I prefer the old US fuzzi's to the HC naps

I think its sad that Fuzzis name has been damaged a little by the mexico thing. But it was teething problems. They had many of the same problems when they shifted to mexico as honeychild have had with their own nappies..

I think I agree with Fiona, I prefer fuzzis over honeychild..

Well I have to say that my Mexico Fuzzi's are great no issues here. I think it is like anything that is made for the first time there are teething problems and thats what happened with Fuzzi's and the same thing is currently happening with the NZ made Honeychild's. I haven't tried a Honeychild yet, but in all honesty I am too scared to because of the things I have heard about them.

I hope Mother of Eden (I think that is their name in the states) can get their stuff sorted.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I think EXACTLY what Becks and Stacey did... that they've had their problems with moving to Mexico, but who hasn't? I'm sure they will get back on track soon enough and it'll be fine. I wouldn't be at all wary of buying fuzzibunz... well, no more wary than buying from anywhere. The retailer should offer some help if there are any problems anyway.

I haven't had any major problems with my mexico fuzzis either, maybe one of them has a slightly different sizing on the leg, but I just use different snaps.
They are still my most used/trusted nappy, I was sad to see honeychild aren't selling them anymore.

Anyway - what Nikki said!

We had small FB's from Mexico and apart from Rohan growing out of them really quickly, they were great. We've bought some medium HC's now and to be honest the quality is no where near as good as the FB's.

The fist batch of HC's were only partly delivered and two out of the three colours had to go back as the poppers didn't work. The "tested" replacements were just as bad and are waiting to go back again.

I'll let you know what the next version are like but if I was to buy them again now I'd stick with FB's.

You can still buy the Fuzzis from Snazzipants BTW, I was in there the other day humming and hahhing over what colours to buy
I have to say we are the same, apart from one bad fuzzi they are still my prefered nappy - lucky since I have so many of them!!!. I have already started to experience a few problems with our HC nappies in the snap department!!!

I should add that I got my fuzzis from the U.S. during the infamous 'Mexico' period and while they haven't been used yet they have had their first wash and have been well inspected - they seem to have the fleece the right way round and the seams are all fine etc.

Plus I received them 5 days after placing my order!

I have no idea whether my Fuzzis are American or Mexican but I haven't had any issues with them at all.
