I’ll be only 14 weeks this coming Friday – I have an office job so therefore I'm sitting in front of a computer all day. I keep getting a REALLY numb bum lol
And my hips have started to feel like they have a lot more weight on them! I’ve taken to going for walks around the office every few minutes, or doing something that requires standing (not much opportunity for that though) just to get the blood flowing back again lol
If I feel like this now then how the hey will I cope over the next 6 months!?!?!?   LOL

Just thought I’d share that with you all

I was the other extreme... had jobs which involved a lot of standing and walking around.

You can't win either way

I'd say do what you've been doing. Take the opportunity to have a small break every hour or so. Walk around...and you'll probably need to go to the loo anyway. Go and get a drink of water. Anything to get the blood flowing so you're comfy.

I'm working on a dairy farm, which is killing me in this heat! And this morning I got booted in the ribs by a stroppy cow, which scared the hell out of me.
Hopefully I will be milking cows until my due date, like I did with Alex. The money helps alot!

I'm 15wks on Sunday. First time being pregnant and finding it really uncomfortable. I was having the same problems as you Toni so i brought a cushion to sit on and it's worked for now.

My main problem at the moment is deciding what to have for lunch. Any suggestions........anyone?

lol oh yeah my sis milks cows with her hubby and she looooves that part of it, he he he, not.

for those ladies standing alot, if you can't always cos for walks around, ie if you are serving customers etc, try wriggling your toes and just moving feet around. wriggling toes can just help keep some feeling and blood flow going for those few mins until you can move around again (learnt that standing in op theatres for hours, man i thought my legs were going break!)

Thanks so much everyone - it's great to know it's not just me and my butt LOL. I'll give the cushion a go.

Deez - I'm have the same prob (can't decide what to eat) which is making planning for dinner difficult. I get home at 4.30 and hubby gets home at 7pm. He certainly doesn't expect me to have dinner waiting for him but I feel bad if he gets home and I'm still standing there in front of the pantry going "uuuummmmm?????" lol

Last night we ended up with chicken sausages, orzo pasta and a pot of pizza topping sauce..... guess what? It tasted FOUL! lol poor hubby *snigger*
