Hey all, just a bit of a YAY!, My nephew Bailey turned 1 yesterday. Didn't think he would get that far, but he has. Had a party last weekend and it was neat, he's now crawling, sitting, and I even had a call from mum the other day to say that he has started climbing everything and up onto the couch and stuff, so he's doing all the right stuff. YAY and hooray! Am unsure if he will walk anytime soon though because he is so tall it's hard to get balance... he's up to Paris's forehead height now, and he's only 1.

argh, had just written post and got logged out. argh!
Some days he's good, others he's not, - ranges really from looking happy, doing lots, to looking sooo tired, being puffy and bruised looking... depends on howl ong the meds work as to his health really.. will never get better, hopefully meds might delay it getting worse.
sis is due end of feb/start of march but will have elective c-section at 37 wekks cos of pre-eclampsia last time.. wants me to go in but depends when it is cos i'm on placement - i'll be in the hospital, but not necessarily able to get away. she's tiny this time - 32 weeks but measuring only 26, has had spotting etc.. last scan everything was good so we'll see in a week or so when she goes for next one. adoptive family all picked and are nice. will be weird, but better for bubs. 
here's the pics, of him dancing next to my 4 yr old nephew - see how big bailey is next to him... tall boy! and of him opening pressies and of his cake

he's such a gorgeous boy janine! i've been wondering how he was doing lately, poor wee mite, well not so wee! he is tall eh!

I know - it's so scary, I can remember her 2nd as well and it didn't seem that long ago!! before we all know it we'll be on here complaining about them staying out till midnight and sleeping in till noon, lol. - we've been watching 8 simple rules for dating my teenage daughters... mike so reckons our girls are gonna be like that!
Yep, i made the cake, and yep, the adoption is an open one to friends of the family.... a niece of one of my mums friends that she has known for over 30 years..
