Topic: Bubble is a Boy!! Posted: 17 January 2006 at 10:29am |
Had a scan yesterday for a study I am taking part in, and the fill-in sonographer spilled about the sex of the baby So, we have a wee boy in there!! I'm very happy, but a bit disappointed as we'd held off finding out so we could have a surprise. At least now we know I guess.....

Congrats on the boy! Bummer that you miss out on that surprise but you still have the surprises of what Bubs will look like, what his personality will be & the surprise of how much love you can have for something that you made

Yay Clare - CONGRATS! Now you can go shopping and not just buy white stuff!
I really wanted a boy but as soon as Hannah arrived and I found out she was a girl, it so didnt matter and I cant imagine things any other way.

Well you've got 13 weeks or so to get your head around it!
I wanted a little boy but after having Hannah wouldn't cahnge her for the world. In the end the sex doesn't make a difference to how excited you are about your newborn babe!
- but don't worry, we understand those feelings

I couldn't make up my mind with what i wanted so decided to keep it a surprise so I couldn't be disappointed. Just wait till bubble is born and then you'll be over the moon.

congrats claire! i completely understand your feelings of disappointment. we found out at the first scan that we were going to have a boy and i was disappointed. but i was over it in no time and from then on we called him by his name all the time and talked about him like he'd already been born. it was great!
