Topic: That heavy tight feeling Posted: 15 February 2008 at 3:38pm |
Hey Chickee's...
How often do you get that heavy tight feeling quite low down, as if baby is trying to push himself/herself out?
I find it so uncomfortable and makes me breathless, but today it has been happening ALL day and baby is really hurting me with his/her movements. They are so rough.
Several times when I have looked down at my desk to write something I've seem my stomach jump.
Just wanted to know how often it happens to everyone else?

Ummm I get a horrible heavy tight feeling sometimes, where it feels like he is going to fall out. Sometimes when he is kicking me down low I swear an arm or leg is gonna fly out lol.
He has been kicking me A LOT today, and sometimes its really uncomfy and weird.
I think its just normal, especially if your baby is lying quite low which I think my boy does alot.

My boy does that as well, he goes head down and pushes with his feet and when i sit on the loo, it feels like he's gonna come out - gets REALLY painful.

OMG Wendz I didn't even know you were pregnant again - congrats
As for your question yes, I got that all the time with the boys.

I used to get that with the gremlins, especially after Sienna's head engaged, it felt like she was going to fall out.
This baby was apparently sitting really low at my 12 and 14 week scans so will be interesting to see where it is on the next scan on Tues.

ive got the same problem today.. it feels like baby is about to fall out! ive been to the toilet a few times today expecting him to just drop on out ive also got the tightenings, and have noticed his backside is poking right out of my belly. i assume his position along with the braxton hicks are possibly the reason it feels so damned uncomfortable?!

Yeah I would agree with you Kaiz, I get that feeling too, worse since bubs has become engaged though and I get pelvic pains as well if I walk around too much, like if you did the splits and strained yourself, not nice. The things we go through for our bubbas!!

Thanks for all your comments ladies.
I feel so duh cos I didn't realise it was BH I was feeling!! Its the first pregnancy I have had them in so had no idea. Dumb dumb.
All your descriptions sounds exactly like what I am getting. They are really sore aren't they.
Baby is definately head down which could be why they are so strong? Also, could this be more common with boys!? Wonder if Im having a boy this time? hehe
Hi mummy_becks!! Wow, how are you doing?????
