Topic: Oh no!!!! Dont you hate it when you..... Posted: 20 February 2008 at 8:59am |
forward an email to wrong person??
I've just sent pictures of a very delicious looking gentleman to the wrong person. Of all the stupid embarrassing things I could do and I go and do that!! I could've sworn I had put the right name in.
Oh the shame. Sinking further and further under my desk.
Hide me!!!

LOL. I got a really really really dirty email during the last olympics about the faux pas that commentators said. I accidentally forwarded it to my entire company (had meant to pick names off the address list but accidentally forwarded to all). My senior manager thought it was hilarious, thank goodness.

Eeeeek. I've done that, but with work stuff - hit reply instead of forward. It was about charging someone money tho luckily they were ok about it! hehe

My boss copied me on an email confirming tickets to an awards dinner at $200 a head, I clicked Reply All thinking it was going to the rest of our staff and typed "For $200 it better be a bloody good feed!" and then my boss emailed me back to point out that the lady who was organising the dinner was also on the Reply All list

I sent a text to my friend about how my bf at the time was pi$$ing me off - turns out I'd accidentally sent it to him instead!

On his way to you now Dal!!
They haven't emailed me back yet. I did email and apologise when I realised but I don't think they work every day so may not get it til later. He is delicious though. I'm sure she'll like him. I hope.

Ha Aprilfools! That sounds like something I would do!
I have sent a text to my friend before about her!!!!!
It wasn't too bad but I felt sick when I realised!
Does it happen to be the email with the guy on the runway with the tattoos? That seems to be doing the rounds currently!

Yep that's him - he was sent to me last year and I've had it sent to me several times since and twice again this last week!! He's very popular.
I forwarded it (or I tried) to someone else who just about faints at the sheer mention of that email and said "look who's come to visit me again. He must like my inbox".
Aw god, I'm an idiot. Thankfully the person that I sent it to by mistake has a good sense of humour.

A friend of mine had her baby a day after me and at a few weeks old I texted her that felt like a cow and I always had my boobs out - whoops, texted her husbands number instead of her.

Once you've sent an email in error pop into your sent items and open the email then go to 'Actions' then 'recall this message' and that should do the trick.
