 Topic: Today is the day...

that DP and I take over our first house  I am sooooooooooo excited!!!!! It's been a whole 2 weeks between signing the agreement and settlement so in other words, stressful nasty times because of some stuff-ups the agent made....but today it all becomes worth it!!!!
I just wanna dance around the room!!! (Not a good idea though, at this house we do still have a flatmate and a funny looking chick in a dressing gown dancing round might be kinda weird)

Congrats! It is such an awesome feeling having your own home that you can do anything you want to in - like not worrying about putting nails in the walls for pictures - woohoo!

Yeah, we have big plans that we will do over the coming hundred years LOL but for now, just being in our own house, with no flatmates, is enough for me!!!

As soon as I get the phonecall saying settlement has happened, I have no doubt that I will LOL the flatmate has now gone to work and it's just me, so there's no reason to hold back hehehe
I can't remember being this excited about anything!!!!

It's a great feeling, huh?
I still get a kick out of looking at the home loan account. Even if it is a MASSIVE negative number, seeing it get smaller is a thrill - even 4 years later
(And even if it does only get smaller by about 4c per month )

Settlement has gone through and I picked the keys up about 12 and have already taken 2 loads of stuff over there....had to get the power reconnected...phone is connected...when DP gets home from work we'll probably go get the trailer and start doing some bigger stuff, but the majority of it will go tomorrow.
I just went to the house with DP's mum and did a little dance through the house...she found it very amusing!! LOL
