Topic: Boobs and bra sizes Posted: 02 March 2008 at 3:17pm |
I appreciate that every woman is different but how many different bra sizes have you been through during your pregnancy?
It's only early days for me but I'm starting to bulge out the top of my DD. I'm scared! DD is quite manageable -- it looks like I'll be a pair of walking bosoms.

I am normally a C but my bra cups are getting really too full, so I think at this stage I've probably progressed to a C+ or D. Not that there is such a thing as C+. I am hoping there won't be too much more growth 'cos yes, like you JessDub, sometimes I feel like I'm all boob! I'm also petite so sometimes I feel really imbalanced.

I always had biggish boobs in comparison to the rest of me,...clothes size 10,..bra size 12D. They got heaps fuller while preg,..but wearing maternity bras that were wireless helped.
After bf for 10 months,..the have shrunk down to a 12b,..arghh!

I always liked crop tops... yes I know I'm horrible But it helped for the few days after I had Seb where I went from a D to I don't know what, an E, then back to a D. I started off as a B before I was pregnant with him... still a D

I started off a E/F cup depending on the bra (very depressing). I ended up needing G cup maternity bras. I've shrunk down to my old size pretty much but it's way more saggy

I'm normally a smaller C (which is fine with me!) but have now filled my C cup. I tried a D but its far too big still so i changed the style C cup, much better fit. Thank god for Bendon outlets! I love the Hot Milk brand though, they are gorgeous so I will be buying one or two for BF.

You guys all sound crazy to me, muttering and moaning about having breasts! I started at 10AA, went to a 12B and now have shrunk to a 12A (and only just filling it)

I went from bring HUGE to being GIGANTIC - up 4 cup sizes!!! Thankfully they have now shrunk back to pre pregnancy - I've even gone down to a 12 from an 18.
Just as I finally am able to buy a hot Hot Milk bra I'm bloody pregnant! Just waiting for the explosion to happen again!!! I dream of underwire. I wonder if I'll ever not be breastfeeding ....

I've always been a 12C, have gone up to a D cup but think I'm going to have to go to a DD before this pregnancy is over. I'm a bit scared at how big they might get.

That's good to know Stacey - I was going to ask you if you went back down to your old size because you were similar to me in how much you grew but I kept forgetting.
I was an E cup prior and just got a 12H from Aussie.

I guess either too small or too big is annoying. I just keep looking at all my pretty bras in my drawer (including one I only got to wear twice) and hoping one day I'll get to wear them again.

I am currently breastfeeding and even whilst pregnant found the HotMilk lingerie wonderful! Not only the comfort but the look and style is fantastic!! I was a 14C and went up to a DD. I went back and bought the pyjamas and nightie as wasn't used to wearing a bra to bed and having the 'shelf bra-feeding concept' makes it easy to feed whilst holding the breast pad in place. I bought the range from House of Bebe in Botany - very helpful, good fitting advice and friendly service. Also, a good range of maternity clothes for those still at that stage and currently on sale - 50% off! Great value.
