You mean the bits around the legs? If yes, then I leave them out too. Was told that the nappy would leak if they were tucked in.

Yeah those flappy bits? I leave them out too.
And there's the gusset type things inside the nappy that I make sure are kinda sticking up so they get the poop. But I think on huggies they tend to go up automatically, on loving touch I have to kinda pull them up.

Yeah i leave the leg parts out too, and just make sure that the leak guards inside are sitting up nicely.

We learnt early on that if they are not pulled out and the leak guard not in the right place they explode. Only use them as night nappies now but same thing
Also so co3ol to not know how to use them at this stage, well done to you++++

I always take the time to pull out the flappy bits
And I also make sure the leak guards are standing upright.
I've only ever had one leakage and that was up and out the top of the nappy (I have never seen a nappy so full!!!) after a particularly spectacular explosion!

I work in a daycare and am about to become a mother to Twin Boys.
LEAVE THEM OUT.... im telling you!!! Otherwise those "Lovely nappies" (that every baby has) have the contents leak all through clothing unless the flaps are OUT!
