Carpel tunnel was the first thing that came to mind...do you do a lot of repetitive tasks with your hand in your job?? Just a thought...

Ha, i posted about this a while back (at new years) I went to the doc and he said something about nerve damage cos i woke up with a numb side of my foot, as in dead leg type thing, eventually the feeling came back and was pins and needles, then turned to being over sensitive.. the sheet even resting on my foot was unbearable it felt like there was crawling on the inside.   I then found it started happening on my little finger and next finger and down my arm. I never went back about it (i should, i know i should).

Get it checked out it could be a trapped nerved or something.   I think that's possibly what mine is partially attributed to, cos if i move my foot a certain way my ankle always gives out i spose i have maybe done something to my foot and the nerves buggered in there somewhere, but i also know that when i bottle feed babies at work i have a certain way i rest my legs so they're crossed, and it always puts pressue on that same part of my foot, so it could be a progressive thing for me too.

Is there any activity that makes it worse/brings it on/makes it better? any certain time of day or anything you can pin it down to?

I was gonna say Carpal Tunnel too, I get it in my wrists and elbows partly from typing and partly from years of repetitive movements working as a checkout operator when I was at high school/uni.

But what Janine says sounds interesting too...
