Topic: Whats going on??? Posted: 19 May 2008 at 9:16pm |
I had the worst braxton hix's this morning well that is waht i think they were anyway after special cuddles OMG I really thought I was going to into labour. Then after that I had the worst pain on my leg all the way down to my little toe it was so bad. So I went for a walk to see if I would get baby to its a little better, but still really sore and this baby is so low I almost feel as if she between my legs already. I am just so uncomfortable never had this with the boy's. If I still feel like his tomorrow will ring midwife just wondering if any on here has any idea's.

My wee girl is sitting really low too and I get heaps of braxton hicks. The pain in your leg might have been sciatica if she was pressing on a nerve or something down there?

I also have had the pain in my leg - I think I was over doing it all. I cant even go for the shortest walk to the end of my street anymore. I also get numb patches on my stomach and thighs but eventually they disappear. The couch it is for me.

Yeah I use to get those pains after sex too. Especially in the later stages, like orgasm spasms.
I was thinking the same as Emma too, she might be sitting on a nerve or something that's causing the pain in your leg.
Hope it goes away soon!

Not to get personal or anything, but what position were you using? If you were on your side, it may well just be nerve (sacroiliac) compression though it usually gets better with movement as the nerves can move again. If you're on your side, you can try having a pillow under your hips according to what my osteo just told me! If in doubt, talk to your MW!

Well my leg feel's way better today but my tummy is so tight I really think she has jsut had a huge growth spurt over the last 24 hour's cause I feel liek my tummy has popped out. She is still bouncing round in there so not too worried just very uncomfy.
