Topic: give me a break! Posted: 30 May 2008 at 7:27pm |
those boys are driving me nuts!!!!!
tonight at bath time they decided to empty the bath of water, all over the floor. there was so much water it is on the bathroom floor, toilet and wash house floor. its almost in the kitchen. they are supposed to be in bed and i can hear them running up the hallway...
i get gabriel from kindy today and he was wearing different clothes than he left the house in.. the reason, he pooed in his pants so just got changed. its his new thing, he doesnt want to do poos on the toilet anymore.. when i ask why he just says he doesnt want to... i didnt know tho that he wasnt wearing undies under his shorts (yeah i know its winter but try telling him that) and at the chemist this afternoon a poo drops out of his shorts right on the floor in front of a lady! i was so embarrassed!!!!
and toby and the toilet - i cant seem to toilet train any of the boys properly... toby just wont go, wether hes wearing undies or nappies he just goes in whatever hes wearing and takes them off and puts them in the wash. i go thru so many pairs of pants for that kid... oh and the paddy he packs when he hasnt got his back pack or hat or whatever other thing he is currently obsessing about. one week it was shoes, he had to wear one pair and carry the other.
they are screaming in their room now... i've just told them off for thumping on the walls. oh and its screaming of fun of jollyness! why have they got energy at this time of night!!!
especially since they were both in my bed at 6, toby at 5am.
hubby is at work so i cant double team with him and i have already moaned at my mum twice today!!!
they better not disturb me when ANTM is on!!!
oh and thru this all eden was having a growth spurt today and feeding twice as much as normal.

First of all, sorry but *snort* at the poo dropping out of his pants at the chemist.. Hope it was a good solid one!
I don't have anything useful to say, but I hope they wear themselves out soon. I'm tired just reading what they have been up to!

Oh Bizzy I'm sorry but I couldn't help but have a wee giggle especially at the falling poo. What did the lady in the chemists do/say?
I too hope they crash soon or are at least quiet so you can watch your programme .

Sorry just read this to Grant and we had a good giggle. Reminds me of one of my friends that also had trouble with her boy that she wasnt even going to train the next one until he was four. The third child a girl trained herself before the two boys even got it.
One day her second child came to get her and told her that J peed in the cupboard. What do you mean? he actually took a drawer out and weed all over it and once did it all over the table.
She finally lost it and told them all that if they do stuff on purpose like that, that she will expect them all to clean it as well as their pants. One time he did have to clean his poo pants and it wasnt so much fun anymore. Worked for them.
And btw, sorry for us laughing.

sally she must have been a mum too cause she was very understanding... she even offered to pick it up for me cause i was carrying eden in the ABC! i couldnt let her do it tho.
and it is funny, even i am giggling, but still very glad it was firm! the lesson in this of course is - make sure your son has underwear on!
they are finally asleep tho, an hour and a half after they went to bed. and toby is in my bed instead of his. but hes not staying there, hes too hard to sleep with that one!
thanks guys for helping me see the funny side of the day! wish i could have a few wines...

I'm glad you're seeing the funny side . Shame you can't have a wine - it sounds as if you could do with one or three .
She definitely must've been a Mum - offering to pick "it" up was pretty kind of her!
