Topic: Free Resene test pot vouchers? Posted: 01 June 2008 at 10:51pm |
I'm about to decorate Miss Cs new room (her current playroom) and need a whole lot fo test pots.
So if anyone has those vouchers for a "buy one get one free" Resene test pot and you don't want it, can we have them please?

I think it is a rip off the fact that they charge so much for such a little amount of paint that is all especially if you are indecisive like me and end up with 10 different samples!

When we painted the outside of our house a couple of years ago we went through heaps of test points (why are there so many off-whites!?!?!? LOL) and when a 10 litre pot of paint costs $100+ I'm happy to "waste" money on a test pot.
Resene only charge about $4 and the size is perfect if you only want to paint little flowers on the wall
Thanks to those that are having a look, I really appreciate it

Argh, I have the Treasures ones too, I would give them to you but yesterday in a moment of brilliance (or complete stupidity!) I decided to paint bookends for Chiara's bookcase and so I used them

I have some test pots that are still good from doing various bits of painting in Erin's room, if you let me know what colors you are after you are more than welcome to borrow what I have?

I'm just after a selection of pinks, purples, blues and yellows
I'm doing small flowers so wouldn't need much of each colour

I'm sure I have at least one each in those colors, so I will dig them out of her closet - I could post them to you if you like unless you want to have coffee and pick them up?

I have a few off the back of my supermarket dockets... the buy two get one free variety, they expire end of this month I think so won't use them all myself by then, so you're welcome to use them! Let me know your address and I'll pop them in the post to you.

Thanks to everyone who has offered to post the vouchers - I think I've PMd everyone with my addy.
I'll post a photo of her room once it's finished. I'm really looking forward to it as last time I decorated her room I was 35 weeks pregnant! LOL

Thanks to those that have already posted the vouchers - you're all so generous
Here are the colours we're going to get (I think )
We're doing a sky, clouds, field and flowers-kinda-thing theme.
This is for the sky
SPLAT
This is for the grass
Hippie Green
And these are going to be the colours of the flowers
Flower Power
Hopskotch
Princess
Ballerina
Not 100% sure but we might do a rainbow over the top of her bed
I'm going to do all the boring woodwork painting this weekend so hopefully I'll have the evenings to do the fun stuff before her new furniture arrives in 3 weeks.
Eeeekkk so excited!
