I want to start trying again!

I have not been given a good reason to wait, it is just recommended.

I am not trying to replace my baby, I know she is gone and I have to move on... but I am just so ready to be pregnant again.

I dont even know if I am going to ovulate this month, and obviously we have not been going hard out to get UTD this month, but I would like to ditch the condoms and if its supposed to happen this month it will.

But then, I am worried that there might still be tissue left over and that cant be good for a wee bubba. I am a bit confused as to what to do.

For those of you who have mc, what reasons did the medical professionals tell you to wait?

Aaaw Mel I completely know where you are coming from in wanting to try again.....bless.

After both my m/c (the missed one at 13 wks and the latest at 5), both times the Dr's said start trying whenever you're ready....although one AF is probably a good idea I think...partly for the emotional healing that needs to happen and partly so any residue tissue left over from the m/c is given a chance to clear?

I think your body will get pg when it's ready to IYKWIM. Sounds like this cycle is gonna be a bit all over the place for you anyway? So you may well find that next cycle is the one that gets you your BFP. I hope it happens for you and your DH when you both want it to.

I know how you feel Mel - I am just like you so wanting to be pg again after mc in May.  I am still waiting for my af to arrive and am getting so annoyed it has not arrived so we can get back on to TTCing.  In saying that though I told my hubby not to use protection as I am sure my body knows what to do.  I hope that you, Emmecat and I are all in a pg thread soon

I wish there was something that I could say to make it all better and can only imagine how frustrating this must be. I hope that you feel better soon. Take care of yourself.

Oh Melnel, definatly know how you feel. I am still waiting for my AF 5 weeks after! Is very annoying.

I thought i was ready to TTC again, and haven't been emotional but last night when hubby suggested we not use anything i insisted, told him that it was cos i wanted to wait for first AF but after i was trying to hold back the tears cos i don't want my heart broken again. Obviously im not ready

Mel, I did get pregnant straight away.  But my MC was straightforward and I didnt need a D&C.  If I hadnt have tested I would have thought it was a late period so maybe that is the difference.  I was told to give it one or2 cycles but I got the impression that was for emotional reasons.

Melnel hope you're gonna Ov then instead of get AF! But if it is AF then I guess that's a good thing too coz you know where you stand and you won't have to worry about if you should have waited or not. My doctor basically said that waiting a month is to make it easier to date the pregnancy, and for emotional reasons. Good luck!

Your miscarriage was a first trimester miscarriage wasn't it? If so, I see absolutely no reason to wait. One doctor will suggest waiting, another will say go for it.

I say go with your heart.

The only thing to be cautious about, is that AF when ttc after a miscarriage is even harder to deal with than prior to a miscarriage. For me, it felt like I was experiencing my loss all over again, so if you do ttc be prepared to brace yourself for that.

Well I have had brown CM today and quite a bit... mixed with watery?????

Has anyone else had this with Ovulation???

We BD "properly" for first time last night since D&C. TMI, there has been penetration previously, but its been quite reserved and only at the end so to speak. Last night was normal BD. It could just be a bit of old blood right??

I have never spotted before, not even at the end of AF really.

Anyway, we have decided that it has been four weeks now, and we both feel ready to start again. We both want to be parents and feel that if its meant to be it will be. Its in universes hands now (and FF of course )

Yep mel I had brown bits in my EWCM about a week ago! Brown spotting for two days, then it went away. So not sure if it's normal or not, but you're not the only one
