Topic: symptoms im having...making me wonder Posted: 29 March 2006 at 11:59am |
if i am close to having baby or not...oh i hate the not knowing.
i am getting braxton hicks all over the place for the past couple of days.
this morning i woke up with period like cramping in my uterus, and i constantly feel like she is sitting on my bum, almost making me want to go for a number 2 all the time.
i am getting the achy back periodically, but nothing regular,
this is frustratin as i just want it to happen.

Take it from Aunty Clare (who has had many children, you know )...... You are getting all the same symptoms going on as me.... And I reckon I'm about 2 weeks away (again, this is from all my experience of childbirth.... )

It is pretty funny, though, that you are both due on the same day, and are both getting early sypmtoms of baby being ready to come!

i never had any niggles/symptoms like that before labour, only when i was in labour that i had those kind of aches and pains and sensations. i have had two babies, but both induced so i have no iddea about going into labour naturally, but i reckon that you must be getting closer. goodluck!

Yeah, the waiting game is my least favourite ever.
Oh how I wish you get to enjoy the great fun that is being 9 days (or more) over due!

how exciting! i hope it happens for you both soon
i was unbearable in the weeks before ella was born. every little niggle would send me into a flurry of last minute cleaning and preperation, thinking that it was finaly time. lucky for me (and everyone around me) she came right on time!

I felt like I was getting my period about 7 days before I had Kobe, remember mentioning it to a friend, I didnt know at that stage waters my had already broken and was actually dialating, had the show a couple of days later and baby 5 days after that so yep that all sounds like labour warm up to me!!! How exciting for you (both of you!)

ha ha, Jezsika, i remember doing this, me, Becca, Becs and Tabs i think, all siting comtemplating the niggles, talking about how big we thought baby would be, setting convenient dates for when babies could come. "if yours comes late and mine is early then maybe they'll be born on the same day!" lololol. turns out that nearly happened. HArmony ended up being only 12 days older than Ayja, me and my next door neighbour did the same - and her daughter is 12 days younger than Ayja. It's nice to have people going through it all with you.
enjoy.

I remember that Janine! I was ready to strangle anyone who gave birth before me if they were due after me, after going through three weeks of irritable uterus!

I know, I cant wait too! We will be moaning about how uncomfortable we are and I know if you have your baby first I will be thinking, oh man whens it my turn! My friend was due about 4 weeks before me and the whole pregnancy she said she just didnt want to have an april fools baby and that I had better not go before her, we laughed and said what are the chances of me going a month early, unfortunately for her both things happened!

There is nothing worse that feeling like crap for two weeks because you've been getting contractinos, then someone comes on line and says they've had theior baby...and you screm "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
