My baby is an IVF baby, and there are 7 of us (I think!) on the forum at the moment expecting IVF babies
I didn't really have too many problems with it - I had side effects from the drugs, and there was a bit of hand-wringing and breath-holding at times (we had a few hiccups with our cycle) but it wasn't really as bad as I imagined. Egg collection isn't my idea of fun, but then I imagine giving birth won't be a bundle of laughs either - you do what you have to!
We only did one round of ICSI and became pregnant first pop, and most (I think possibly all? I'm a bit vague today sorry!

) of the other girls were first pop as well. We've had varying degrees of success vis a vis frozen embryos - a couple of the girls have none, some of us have multiple embryos and blastocysts on ice.
Obviously though we know of others who have had longer journeys and there is, unforunately, no rule of thumb for how long it may or may not take for anyone

if only! We'd all feel a lot less frightened if we had a clue.
There is an infertility section (Copying With Infertility) and most of our journeys are in there

if you feel inclined to trawl through

We do go on a bit ...
I wish you all the very, very best, and just throw me or any of the other girls a PM if you have questions, or need a virtual hug. It's a hard road, but you're on the countdown!!
