Who else has this? It seems like everyone I know IRL has this bug and it's a really lingering too

I've had it for the best part of 4 weeks (chills, tired all the time, fever on and off, sneezing and coughing up greenies, swollen glands in neck), Caitlin had it for just over a week and now DH has it (100 times worse of course! )

I'm so over it! I want to feel well again *tanty*

Yep I still have it hanging around from 5 weeks ago.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

We're off to the GP today. I can hardly talk and it hurts to swallow (glads very swollen) and my poor lil girl woke up with green gunk in her eyelashes and under her nose

I got it .. this is week 4 and I'm only just beginning to feel semi-human again.

Being pg makes things worse too - GP told me just to keep my fluids up. I ate a lot of pineapple frujus as comfort but could hardly taste anything - including spicy meals.

I think I got it too The last 3 days I have struggled to move of the couch, I have such a sore throat and headache and am loosing my voice. Now I understand why Keira has been so grumpy the last few weeks - shes been sick with it too and only just got her voice back.

Yup...same here...we are on week 5 of it in this house!! I have been laid up again for 4 days this time with an inner ear infection on top of the rest of it (snot, cough, sore throat etc)....the infection has caused me to have vertigo...its been awful. Havent been able to read, watch TV, use the PC, bend over, turn my head, sit up....its just been a nightmare!!

Feel like I somehow need to de-bug my house!!!

This is what we have, Toni. The girls have conjunctivitis and ear infections out of the cold, DH "just" has a cold (for a while though), mine developed into sinus infection and laryngitis too. TMI if your phlegm is green you will probably get AB's, hopefully that wil help it disappear quicker.

I'm seriously feeling like our family has been rather picked on this winter

SimSam, I've had vertigo before and it is dreadful! You can get anti-dizzy tablets from your dr if you are struggling with it.

Eating bananas helps btw, it's about the only food "soft enough" to eat when your throat is sore. Honey lollies too (we have a honey farm in Palmy that make hard boiled lollies out of honey), try to keep your fluids up with diluted juice. We have been having casseroled chicken most nights this week as the chicken is then very soft.

And we've been through about 5 tissue boxes since the weekend LOL

Dr said Caitlin has tonsilitis and I probably have glandula fever (but can't give me anything for it) She gave C antibiotics and whilst I was getting some pro-biotics at the homeopath I said to her I'd been unwell for ages and told her what the GP said. I left there with 2 bottles of what I can only descibe as venomus stagnant pond water LOL but all tinctures taste like that. I'm just glad someone could give me something to make me feel a bit better.
I also got some immune booster "stuff" for all of us and was advised to de-bug the house. So that's all windows and doors open for at least an hour.

Hope everyone else starts to feel better soon, I hate winter as a rule - but this one has REALLY SUCKED!

Busymum - I got some anti-nausea / anti-dizzy pills but they make me sleepy, so couldnt take them if I needed to look after Oli!

Today was my first day back driving (since last Thurs)....was taking it very carefully on the road!!

I've had it for two weeks. There was something on the news about it and how it was wiping out numbers in schools. The doctors said it was a 'cold' bug but a nasty one that hangs around for ages *great*

There are heaps of people off sick at my work with it too...

Stink if you have GF Toni, that really bites. You can get a blood test to confirm it.
