Will my cycle be back to normal. I came off the pill just before my period which was on the 17th August, and I also ovulated on time. But since then I think I have ovualted again (now) please help me. Will I conceive straight away or do i have to wait

So long as you are taking folic acid you should be fine to TTC straight away. I know plenty of people who have fallen pregnant in their first month off the pill.
If you have already ovulated then you probably may not get pregnant this month (unless you were already trying at O time), but next month go for it.

It's definitely possible to ovulate twice in one cycle, and coming off the pill is likely to throw your cycle out a bit so it's even more likely.
You could end up with fraternal twins if you ovulate twice and both fertilise and implant

I got my BFP in July after stopping the pill in June, I must have ovulated about a week later than I normally would have. And there i was waiting for AF to arrive, lol.

Depending on how long you have been on the pill it could take a couple of cycles for your body to settle into its own.

Yeah , i came off the pill on the 26th of July , and i got AF today , so this cycle was quite long .
I also think i ovulated twice, i ovulated the 2nd time on the 26th which was about 14 days ago
be prepared for your body to be a bit confusing

yeah i been on the pill for about 10 years or so and my body is playing tricks on me too... he he
came off about 2 months ago had one AF and now waiting for the second turn up... been trying to come for about a week now...
hopefully next month body might be back on track then

So when AF arrives I will then Ovulate how many days after - if my cycle is 28days

I think its usually about 14 days after
Your body may go back to normal straight away , just be prepared that it may take a couple of months, and dont get disheartened if it does, it cn be really frustrating (i know, i went through the same thing last month) but seems on average most women fall preg 3-6 months after coming off it .

Hi, I was on the pill from about 18 years old to when we wanted a baby... I was 33... I stopped it in July, had a couple of "periods", i.e "is that it?" and got pregnant in October the same year. I was fully expecting it to take ages but it didn't. I used a website and calculated when I would be ovulating according to when AF arrived and it really worked! Good luck!

Hi, I was on the pill for ten years, went off the pill in June, first cycle was 44 days and in my current cycle I am at day 52, driving me nuts! It would be ideal if I wasn't TTC!!!!! I'm sure it will come right in it's own time though - but hard to know when I ovulate, went through so many of the ovulation strips I gave up in the end. Am going to try temping for next cycle and see how that goes.
